[RINZLER]
****
Luna Ulrika had finally managed to put Savannah down. She was the complete opposite of her and if it weren't for her mate's constant reminder that it wasn't a must for kids to be the same as their parents, she would have gone crazy. The girl rejected everyone's help and only wanted her mother.
Rinzler and Ancel nurturing had been easy, while Rinzler obeyed their mother's rules, and replied whenever called, Ancel was the shy and silent one. Even their mother had once described him as waves that followed the direction of the wind, if the wind said west, west it was.
On the beautiful canoe that Rinzler had made with his adept mother, he was waiting for her to come so they would go for their usual evening adventure. He hated that his siblings didn't accompany him. But what else would he do? Wake up Savannah? Force Ancel?
Some she-wolves waved at him and when he waved back, they giggled as they shied away, their behavior quite interesting yet he couldn't figure out why. They trained together and made jokes at one another, but recently, after their boobs began showing accompanied by hips broadening, their approach towards him changed.
The fact that his voice had begun to deepen didn't help the situation either.
"Boy, I think it is time we speak of wet dreams." Luna Ulrika broke him from his daze.
"Mother, finally. And mom, no silly talks, come on, I have been waiting here for you. Is Ancy okay?" Rinzler handed his mother two paddles.
"Yes, I asked your father to check on him."
"What is wrong with him?"
"I think it is because girls are surrounding you all the time. That is why I must inform you of the…"
"Mama, you are stunning. Your beauty blinds me." Rinzler was dodging the topic of the wet dream and his mother saw right through him. Luna Ulrika sent a link to her mate while pushing the canoe off the shore and then jumped into it easily.
In the middle of the lake, Luna Ulrika let go of the paddles, "it is either we die here, or you talk to me."
"Mother, you are…"
"If you mention my beauty, I will make you swim from here back to the pack, we both know how easy the lake makes you tired."
Rinzler pouted.
Luna Ulrika's beauty made both men and women strain their napes whenever she walked past them. She was a redhead, a feature she inherited from her lineage. She was a beta from a pack far away. Her slightly pointed sharp nose, her beautiful full lips went well with her oval face. Her eyes sparkled whenever she spoke, and her smile was contagious.
During one of the alphas and lunas' annual competitions, she met her mate, alpha Aspen. Even if the Valley Pack wasn't near the Mountain Pack, they couldn't miss attending the competition. Luna Ulrika's parents were beta but she had been exceptional and attended it so she would compete in place of the Valley Pack's luna.
As soon as she stepped foot on the pack, she smelt her mate and figured it was the alpha. However, Luna Ulrika hadn't jumped onto the Alpha's bones and asked him to mark her, their competitive nature couldn't have allowed them. They had competed, and once Luna Ulrika had been announced the winner, she had run to Aspen and embraced him with need.
The annual competition festival had turned into a mating ceremony.
Her eyes glistened, "I have to tell you, it was the most beautiful day of my life. Your father's eyes were glued on me the whole time. Son, don't succumb to lust, you must wait for your mate." Luna Ulrika advised Rinzler who had no option but to listen to his mother's wise teachings.
"Yes, mother, now can we go to the Axel Land?"
"Apart from that, when you become alpha, the pups must be well-trained." Luna Ulrika paused and looked into the endless mass of water. "You must be there for your siblings; Savannah is defiant but she listens to you. Despite Ancel's quietness, he has a voice. As such, don't ever ignore him. Okay?"
Rinzler nodded in deep concentration and Luna Ulrika continued, "I already put them in their place, they know they mustn't leave your side till you have a mate."
"Mother?" Rinzler dipped his hands into the water, scooped some, and splashed to his mother.
Wiping the water from her face, she took his hands, "if I die first, make sure your father doesn't follow me anytime soon. Child, you must search him a mate if need be…" Before Luna Ulrika finished her words, she held her head, her wolf was growling at her. No one would replace them, no one.
Luna Ulrika stood and searched for the paddles, it was at the same time Rinzler pushed her lightly, jokingly and since she wasn't holding on to anything, she fell into the water with a splash. The canoe overturned, and before Rinzler knew it, they were capsizing. He felt her mother's feet hitting him, he came up screaming, "mother, this isn't funny anymore."

"Asshole, perhaps one day you should offer me something simple. Wake up or I will leave your ass right here." Rinzler's wolf whined.
"Mother." Rinzler woke up, thrashing and screaming, drenched in sweat.
"Mother isn't here, but if you don't get your ass up, I am afraid we will be meeting her anytime soon. Last month, when I asked you to let go of us, of our life, you fought me off. Now here you are, on the floor, thrashing like…" The wolf trailed off when they heard a scream.
Scurrying from the floor he almost cursed as he felt things like needles on his knees, "you help or stop talking, please."
"As I was saying, our mate isn't okay." The wolf retaliated.
"How long have I been out?"
"I don't know. I don't have a watch silly."
Pushing through the pain as he went to the back door, the scent got stronger as he neared the door. It was different, different great.
