Marina was driving maniacally, swerving car after car, she didn't care whatever was happening inside the pack, she was only thinking of getting Rinzler where he wanted to be instant.
Rinzler held onto the seat dearly, he feared if he didn't, he would fly out of the car. They didn't speak all the way, well, what would they say to each other anyways?
Perhaps Rinzler will tell her, "while we're playing divorced couples trying to love one another, the pack was under siege?"
No. It was better this way, with everyone with their things to think of.
Rinzler tried calling Savannah but the calls went unanswered, he wished he could just fly there, he lamented himself over and over, and he knew Bedelia won't forgive him for not listening and dealing with Marina sooner than later.
He blamed himself for being weak, for getting used to Marina's warmth, her coldness, and her mood changes.
