Throughout fishing, she felt her brother's spirits changing. Patience was the key to not only being a good luna but also a great sister. Savannah didn't want to push it. It was clear that her brother didn't want to talk.
To make it worse, the fish has gotten the memo. 'Brother is in a bad mood, it means they were going to play with the hook. And hell, playing they did.
Rinzler didn't notice.
He was like a robot feeding the fish.
She glanced at her brother and found him in deep thought, his eyes focused on the water.
What was he thinking? Savannah thought. She wasn't sure if he was thinking about the fish or the alpha and the fish together. Savannah would have given anything for it to be the latter.
"Dear brother, the alpha is dead. Let us stop this madness." This is what Savannah wanted to say. Instead, she said softly, "hand me the bait."
