As Romani's soul dissipated from his use of Ars Nova, only one thought was running through his mind; he was scared, absolutely and truly terrified. Sure, he'd died before, but that'd been when he was an unfeeling machine; just a tool for the will of God, and even then he'd known that his soul would persist in some sort of afterlife. Ars Nova, however, was destroying his very soul, ripping him apart at the most intimate of levels, a dark fate he knew there would be no coming back from. His vision faded completely away, the last thing he saw was his mortal enemy, his stray creation that had ruined all of history and had forced this last gambit upon him. With his physical body well and truly gone, Archaman's soul floated in endless darkness.

Romani blinked. Once, twice, but it was worthless against the radiant light emanating from everywhere all at once. The light soothed his soul and restored it, recrafting the broken shreds from beyond even the Root. Immediately, a voice rang out.

"𝐈, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐆𝐨𝐝, 𝐚𝐦 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐧. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝."

As it had been said a pleasant, cool feeling rushed into the doctor's very core, settling within him and slowly fading.

The Lord's presence slowly withdrew, and Archaman fell into a deep, deep sleep.

Romani woke to a strange sound in his head, and immediately scanned his surroundings. Finding nothing, he hesitantly decided to call out to the unknown speaker.

"Who's there? Where am I?"

Best Mate: Yeah, what kind of magic is this? It just appeared in front of me and didn't let me refuse this invitation.

Romani instantly recognized three of the four other chat members. With that iconic laugh, Strongest Man could only be Whitebeard, and Master of Technology should definitely be Tony Stark. As for Geo Archon, Romani had a feeling that this was Zhongli from Genshin Impact! To make sure, the doctor quickly sent a chat message.

Ultimate Magus: If I'm correct, should you be Whitebeard @Strongest Man?

Strongest Man: Indeed, I am Whitebeard!

Ultimate Magus: Then @Master of Technology should be Tony Stark and @Geo Archon should be Zhongli, or should I say, Rex Lapis! Only, who are you @Best Mate

Master of Technology: Of course!

Geo Archon: Indeed, though how did you know that I am Rex Lapis.

Best Mate: Ah, I'm Ron Weasley, Harry's best mate! It seems these titles are really accurate!

Ultimate Magus: I'll make this brief then. Every one of us is connected to this Multiverse Chat System which obviously means that we are all from differing universes. I was the only one who recognized both Whitebeard and Tony Stark, but if we were all from the same universe such a thing would be impossible. The other two members would definitely recognize at least one of the two.

After reading these words, all the chat members' hearts were racing. After all, it isn't everyday that you discover other universes. All the members were quite receptive to the idea, all of them having had similar experiences with strange powers.

Ultimate Magus: Why don't we all take a day or two to get used to all this and chat later?

Strongest Man: Gurarararara, interesting! I agree!

Geo Archon: I as well.

After Romani had closed the chat, he turned to his next order of business. (System, show me my stats.)

Bio: Xiao Yulong is now Romani Archaman, a reincarnated Solomon from another world. After successfully killing Xiao Che with Murdering Heart Powder, Xiao Yulong's soul was Obliterated by the Most High and replaced with Romani Archaman's.

(A basic Status, huh, … and I'm in Against the Gods? Honestly, I've only read like half of what is probably out... but those veins have more entrances than normal. Still, this should be no problem. All I need to do is assist and rein in Yun Che for a while so he doesn't become his scum canon self and then use my foreknowledge to take advantage of major power opportunities. With this system, and with cultivation it must be possible to return to my world, if only briefly!)

(I'll deal with that later. For now, I need to fix the mess Xiao Yunlong got me into. Sadly, I'll have to have Xiao Yang take the fall for Yun Che's murder if he finds out. I've got one day to prepare before the story starts and I'll need to set up many plans for that. The group members should be able to help as well. For now though, I should cultivate and meditate on some plans.)

As Romani sunk into cultivation, plan after plan went through the Wise King's head as his profound veins greedily sucked in profound energy. In mere hours, Romani had already reached the fifth level of the Nascent Soul realm, and the speed of his breakthroughs didn't stop. At the end of the night Romani only stopped cultivating because he had reached the True Profound Realm and he wanted to stabilize his foundation. As he drifted of to sleep, Archaman dreamed of a future that never was.
