The next week passed by in a blur, and before Vanya knew it, resumption day had finally arrived. She woke up early, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves as she prepared for her first day back at school.
As she soaked in the bathtub, Vanya's thoughts drifted to Nolan. She couldn't help but think about how breathtakingly handsome he was, and how gentle he had been with her lately. She felt a pang of sadness as she realized that he still didn't love her, but she pushed the thought aside and focused on getting ready for the day.
After her bath, Vanya got dressed in a beautiful plaided shirt with sleeves underneath, paired with shorts that highlighted her voluptuous figure and leggings underneath. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled, feeling confident and beautiful.
Just as she was about to start doing her hair, Nolan wheeled into the room, a gentle smile on his face. "Need some help?" he asked, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
Vanya's heart skipped a beat as she looked at him, feeling a flutter in her chest. "Yeah, please," she said, trying to sound casual.
Nolan nodded and began to help Vanya blow-dry her hair. As they worked together, Vanya couldn't help but feel a sense of intimacy and connection with Nolan. She loved the way he smelled, the way his hands felt in her hair, and the way he looked at her with a gentle smile.
As they finished up, Vanya curled her hair and packed it, leaving a few loose strands framing her face. She added a beautiful bracelet to one wrist and a watch to the other, feeling like a million bucks.
Nolan wheeled back and looked at her, his eyes scanning her from head to toe. For a moment, Vanya thought she saw something flicker in his eyes, something that looked almost like...admiration?
But it was quickly replaced by his usual stoic expression, and Vanya was left wondering if she had just imagined it.
"You look beautiful," Nolan said, his voice low and smooth.
Vanya's heart skipped a beat at his words, and she felt a blush rise to her cheeks. "Thanks," she said, trying to sound casual.
Nolan nodded and wheeled back, his eyes still fixed on her. "Have a good day at school," he said, his voice a little softer than usual.
Vanya refused to use any of the cars provided by Nolan, insisting on taking a cab to school instead. She wanted to maintain some level of independence and normalcy in her life, despite being married to a wealthy and influential man.
As she arrived at school, Vanya rushed to her first lecture, not noticing the heads turning towards her as she walked by. She was oblivious to the admiring glances and whispers that followed her, too focused on getting to her class on time.
Vanya's eyes widened in shock as Emrys sat down beside her in class. She couldn't believe that he had the nerve to sit beside her, especially after everything that had happened between them. Sadly, he was also in her class, that was also where she had first met him.
Emrys, her ex-boyfriend, was a person she hated with every fiber of her being.
Vanya's mind flashed back to the memories of their tumultuous relationship.
Vanya's skin crawled as she thought about it, and she felt a wave of nausea wash over her. She couldn't believe that she had ever been with someone like Emrys.
Emrys, on the other hand, seemed completely oblivious to Vanya's feelings. He smiled at her, his eyes gleaming with an unnerving intensity.
"Hey, Vanya," he said, his voice low and smooth. "Long time no see."
Vanya's eyes narrowed, her heart racing with anger. "What do you want, Emrys?" she spat, trying to keep her voice down.
Emrys chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Oh, I just wanted to see how you're doing," he said, his voice dripping with insincerity. "I heard you and Nolan are still married ."
Vanya's face burned with anger, and she felt a surge of hatred towards Emrys. How dare he bring up her marriage to Nolan? How dare he act like he cared about her well-being?
"I don't want to talk to you, Emrys," Vanya said, her voice cold and detached. "Just leave me alone."
Emrys's smile faltered for a moment, but then he recovered, his eyes glinting with a sinister light.
"Oh, I don't think so, Vanya," he said, his voice low and menacing. "You see, I've been thinking a lot about us, and I've come to realize that we're not done yet. Not by a long shot."
Vanya's heart skipped a beat as she heard Emrys's words. But as she looked into his eyes, she saw something there that made her blood run cold.
Emrys was not going to let her go without a fight.
As the lecture continued, Emrys's gaze remained fixed on Vanya, his eyes roaming over her body with an unbridled intensity. He stared at her breasts, his mind consumed by the desire to strip her bare and claim her as his own.
He didn't care that she was married to Nolan, a powerful and wealthy man. Emrys sneered at the thought of Nolan, crippled and unable to satisfy Vanya's needs. He was convinced that Vanya was still his, that she belonged to him, and that he would stop at nothing to reclaim her.
As Vanya answered questions and participated in the discussion, Emrys's eyes were drawn to the way her breasts jiggled with each movement. He smiled to himself, his mind racing with dirty thoughts and fantasies.
When the lecture finally came to an end, Emrys quickly cornered Vanya, his eyes gleaming with a sinister intensity.
"Hey, Vanya," he said, his voice low and husky. "You look stunning today. That shirt really brings out the color in your eyes."
Vanya's eyes narrowed, her skin crawling with disgust as Emrys's gaze roamed over her body.
"Emrys, I need to go," she said, trying to push past him.
But Emrys was relentless, his hands reaching out to grab her arms and hold her in place.
"Oh, come on, Vanya," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Don't be like that. I'm just trying to be friendly."
Vanya's eyes flashed with anger, her heart racing with fear. She knew that she had to get away from Emrys, to protect herself from his twisted desires.
"Let me go, Emrys," she said, her voice firm and commanding.
But Emrys just smiled, his eyes glinting with a sinister light.
"Oh, I don't think so, Vanya," he said, his voice low and menacing. "You see, I've been thinking a lot about us, and I've come to realize that we're not done yet. Not by a long shot."
Vanya's heart skipped a beat as she heard Emrys's words.
