On June 18 in Jin City, the whole city was draped in celebratory red. For today was the day Su Family, the richest family in Jin City, was to wed their bride. "Where is the groom?" Someone suddenly called out, forcing everyone to instinctively look for the groom.

But the groom was nowhere to be found at the whole wedding venue.

"Don't tell me the groom has run away!" The joke was out, but the undertone was most certainly of schadenfreude.

The smile vanished from Bai Xue's face, her hands at her sides clenched into fists.

"What's going on? The groom should be here by now, right?" The wedding planner grabbed her assistant anxiously. She had him keep an eye on the groom, where in the world did he lose him to? How could the wedding go on without the groom?

The assistant shrunk back, too terrified to utter a word.

Bai Xue's hands were beautiful, but the twisted veins on the back of her hands ruined their beauty, making them appear rather horrifying!
