9 Demonstration and Survival

AN: It'll take a while to get to it, but !!!WARNING!!! SMUT AHEAD!!! Okay we're good now

I wake up the next morning, with no sign of anyone having been in my tent. I sigh. "Figures." I sit up and yawn, stretching. I look around and put on my overcoat, feeling the cold wind flow inside my tent, and I put on my shoes-... shoe and walk outside, greeted by a gust of freezing wind, and I shiver and pull my coat around me tighter, and walk to the rank house. When I get into it I smile at the warmth of the inside of it. I go over to a table, having spotted Korax and Jaxx sitting at it. "Hey guys." I say. They nod in greeting. I look around for a moment, "Where's Xanthos?" Kor shrugs.

"No one's seen him. He might be in his tent still." Kor says. Jaxx notices some sort of emotion on my face.

"Did something happen?" I shrug, sitting down.

"Well, nothing major really. He just had me leave his tent last night. And it was clear that no one went into my tent last night either. So I was just wondering." Jaxx looks at me as if he doesn't believe me, but he doesn't pry any further. After a couple minutes, we all get some food. Pancakes.

"Odd choice for an army." Korax says, laughing slightly. Jaxx nods.

"I must agree." We eat the pancakes nonetheless. After a while, we hear some shouts from outside the rank house. Kor, Jaxx, and I exchange confused glances, and scramble over to the doors.

We all burst out of the rank house, looking around for where the shouts originated. "Over here!" Someone says, leading all of us to the back of the rank house. We all spread out so all of us can see what's happening. It's someone holding Xanthos by the collar of his uniform. They're much taller than Xanthos even, which makes us all nervous. And he looks stronger. He drags Xan with him closer to us, and one by one, we realize who it is. Raxio Black.

"I believe you all know me," he says, firmly and loudly, "which will make this demonstration much easier." He lets go of Xan's collar, letting him fall to the ground since he was barely on his feet when he got dragged over. Raxio slowly starts pacing around him, and then he says, "Look at him. Look at your general. Pay close attention to his reactions, understand?" An instant "Sir yes sir." comes from all of us. Raxio stops at Xan's side when he gets up. Xan is breathing hard, anger burning in his eyes like fire. His eyes are locked with his father's eye. His father proceeds to punch him in the jaw, knocking him to the ground with ease. All of us gasp slightly, and Xan pops his jaw into place again. "See that face? That is one of anger. Not one of pain. In order to stop your enemy successfully, you need to hurt them. Almost to the point of killing them." Xan gets up, still staring at his father. At this point they are pacing each other in a circle. I can feel the tension between me and the rest of the soldiers. Suddenly Raxio grabs Xan by the shoulders, and knees him in the gut. Xan definitely feels it, but he instantly breaks out of his father's grip and punches him in the nose, causing a small amount of blood to splatter out. Raxio only stumbles. I look at Jaxx, and he looks back at me. He even looks worried which I know is a rare occurrence.

Raxio moves as though he's going for another strike, but Xan reacts faster than both of them were expecting, hitting him in the chest. Raxio doesn't even falter as he grabs Xan's arm and jerks it behind his back, making him wince. "That face, still is not what you need. You need," Raxio says, his voice deepening as he puts more pressure on Xan's arm, making him get on his knees and grunt slightly, "something better." Raxio suddenly lets go of Xan's arm, only to promptly kick the middle of his back, making him fall forward. He kicks Xan a couple of times to the point where Xan can't even move, just a curled up ball of pain. "That, gentlemen," Raxio says, pointing at Xan, "is what you need."

Jaxx instantly snaps. I still don't understand what even happened to this day. Jaxx walks over to Raxio, and taps him on the shoulder to get his attention. Raxio turns and instantly freezes. "You. I killed all of you." Jaxx smirks slightly.

"I know." One moment, Raxio is standing there, the next he's on the ground in about as much pain as Xan, if not more. I barely saw Jaxx move, but he stumbles ever so slightly. I go over to Xan and kneel down by him.

"Hey hey focus. Are you okay?" He looks at me.

"I just... got the shit beaten out of me... by my own father. How do you think I feel?" I nod, realizing it was kind of a dumb question.

"Let us get you to the Med Center." Jaxx walks over and helps Xan up. I get up and look at the men all standing there in shock, and say, "Put him somewhere, will you?" as I point at Raxio. They nod and start slowly working on moving him. I go after Jaxx, who is at this point, carrying Xan.

After quite some time, Jaxx sits down with a sigh, putting a hand to his head. I look at him, then back at Xan, who is sleeping rather peacefully.

"You okay Jaxx?" I say quietly. He looks at me, his hand casting a shadow over his eyes, making his silver eyes almost glow in the dim lighting.

"No." I look away, and fidget slightly. Jaxx sighs, "Raxio killed almost my entire race. I am the last one and I know it." I suddenly remember something.

"Do you have like some kind of journal or something?" He sits up slightly.

"Why are you asking?" I look at him.

"I found something in my bag, in my tent. It mentioned Zuli, so I figured it might be your's." Jaxx suddenly lurches forward, tilting his head slightly. He gets up and goes over to a can and promptly vomits. I get up, slightly alarmed. "Are you okay?" Jaxx leans against the wall, and slides down, sitting on the floor. He suddenly looks as if he's sick. He looks at me, and shakes his head, sweating. "What's wrong?" I say frantically.

"My race... we are not built to live this long..." Jaxx says, struggling to get the words out.

"Y-you're dying??" He shrugs.

"I assume... I am partly through the process of it... yes." His breathing falters slightly, and I look him over frantically.

"Isn't there anything we can do to help you?" Jaxx makes a noise similar to a laugh but he starts coughing so hard that tears run down his cheeks.

"I... I have never witnessed anyone of my race die... but I have heard a lot of rumors... a couple of which are true..." I roll my eyes.

"What are they?" He swallows dryly, and smiles awkwardly.

"You have got to be kidding me." I say after he tells me. He shakes his head, smirking. "But who would even - I am NOT going to do jack shit - want to," I pause, trying to find the right words, "participate?" The look on Jaxx's face makes me realize the answer. "No. There is no way in Hell!" Jaxx flinches, nearly doubling over. "O-okay maybe it's worth a shot." I say, taking one of his arms and draping it over my shoulder, pulling him up with me. I start leading him to the tents. Soon enough, we get to Korax's tent. He looks up as we walk in, and instantly stands up.

"Jesus Christ Jaxx are you okay?" Jaxx looks at him, and I let go of his arm. Jaxx stumbles forward, catching himself on Korax, grabbing him by the shoulders. His breathing gets harder, and he locks eyes with Kor. Suddenly, Jaxx kisses him, surprising Korax, not expecting something like this to happen. Jaxx pauses for a moment. "J-Jaxx what are you doing?" Kor says, his voice shaking.

"Trying not to die." Jaxx smirks and kisses him again, and then he kisses his neck, making Kor blush deep red. I look at him and feel my face get hot, unsure of what I should do.

"What the fuck is happening?" Kor mouths to me.

"He's dying, and trying to test a theory." I mouth back, whispering slightly. Kor makes a confused face, and then Jaxx gently pulls Korax over to his couch thing, having him lay down on it. I get warmer as I realize I really shouldn't be here, but I can't move a muscle. Jaxx kisses Kor again, and he slowly puts a hand up Kor's shirt, making him squirm a little. Jaxx smiles, and then tears off Kor's shirt like he's ripping paper. Kor turns dark red, and I look down, still unable to move. Jaxx gently kisses all the bruises and cuts on Kor's torso, and Kor's breathing gets faster. Jaxx looks at Kor, and then over at me.

"Would you..." He doesn't finish his sentence and I nod and walk out of the tent.

Jaxx looks back at Korax, and Korax looks back at him. It's clear that Korax is nervous, maybe even scared. Jaxx puts one hand on his face and says, "I am not going to hurt you." Kor's breathing slows for a moment, and then a small smile creeps onto his face. Jaxx smiles back and kisses him again, this time Kor kisses back. Kor is practically hugging Jaxx, and Jaxx's hands just skim over Kor's body. Jaxx kisses Kor's neck again, getting an almost unintelligible moan from him. Jaxx smiles against Kor's neck, and Kor's hands stop at Jaxx's waist, and Jaxx sits up on top of Kor and pulls off his shirt, revealing several tattoos and other markings that no one has seen before, and he kisses Kor again. Kor manages to get Jaxx off of him for a moment, standing up.

"You have no idea how fucking long I've wanted this to happen." He backs Jaxx up against a table, and Jaxx sits on top of it, kissing Korax. Korax puts his hands on Jaxx's waist, and he starts undoing the belt Jaxx has on. Jaxx doesn't even react, not resisting at all. Korax pulls the belt off, but leaves it on the table. Jaxx pauses, breathing hard, looking from the belt to Korax. He smiles. "Someone is a kinky bastard, huh?" Kor smiles back, and he manages to get Jaxx's pants off. They kiss again, and Kor slides his hand up Jaxx's thigh, making him shiver slightly. Kor starts messing with one of the edges of Jaxx's boxers, and he smiles as Jaxx shivers again.

"You are such a fucking tease." Jaxx says, and in response, Kor puts his hand in Jaxx's boxers, making him shudder.

"That's what I thought." He whispers, kissing his shoulder as he slowly pulls off Jaxx's boxers.

After a little bit, Jaxx is a mess. "F-fuck... are you sure you have... never done this before?" He says, moaning slightly. Korax smiles.

"Not with anyone else." Jaxx smiles, and moans again.

"Zuli above I h-hate you so much."

"You're gonna hate me more after this." Kor says. Jaxx catches on, and instantly turns dark red.

"No no no no do not even try I swear to Zuli I will make this much worse for you. I am gonna be more of a tease than you, if possible." Korax smiles, and leans down. A couple seconds later, Jaxx shudders, moaning, trying to be quieter to not cause any sort of disturbance.

'God I can't believe this is happening! Or why this is keeping him alive... fuck it this is amazing.' Korax thinks to himself as he deep throats Jaxx with only a little difficulty. Jaxx bites his lip, trying not to moan louder.

"I-I swear... I-I am going to g-get you for... for this..." He says breathlessly. Korax just starts going faster, making Jaxx shudder. Jaxx looks around for something that he can mute himself with slightly, and he just barely is able to reach his shirt, which he ties around his mouth with the knot between his teeth. He bites down on it, trying to remain silent. Korax hears him saying things in his native language, and goes even faster. Jaxx shudders and he puts his hands on the edge of the table, leaning on them for support. His breathing is getting ragged, and he hesitantly puts one hand on Kor's head, almost wanting him to stop, but he can't make himself stop him.

A few moments later, Jaxx pulls the gag out of his mouth, and starts talking quickly and breathlessly, "K-Kor... I-I..." Jaxx can't even finish his sentence, but Korax understands him, but doesn't stop. Jaxx feels himself tense up all over, breathing faster than before. He knows what's going to happen, but he doesn't know if anything will happen to Korax. He's only heard a few stories but at the moment he can't remember anything. Most of his thoughts are being driven out of his head. The tension almost gets worse, and Jaxx puts the gag back in his mouth, muffling a loud moan. Then, he relaxes, the tension leaving him, with a groan. After a moment, Kor is in his line of sight, and Jaxx tiredly kisses him.

"I can't believe this is a way to keep you alive." Kor says, teasing.

"It is... worth it..." Kor pauses for a moment. After choosing his next words very carefully, he speaks.

"Jaxx... how... how old are you?" Jaxx leans into him from on the table, slightly shaky, and he hesitates.

"Older... than anyone I had ever... met in my race at this point..." Kor looks at Jaxx.

"What do you mean...?" Jaxx looks at him, locking eyes with him.

"My race usually has an average age... of around a few thousand years. I have been alive for... a couple... hundred thousand probably..." Kor studies Jaxx's eyes. They express more emotion than his face. Pain, mostly. Kor suddenly hugs him, surprising Jaxx, but after a second, he hugs Kor back. "Now," Jaxx says, getting off the table, picking up the belt as he does, backing Kor back to the couch, "time to return the favor." Kor turns dark red as Jaxx has him sit on the couch.

"D-don't!" Korax says as Jaxx takes the belt and ties it around Kor's wrists. Jaxx smiles mischievously.

"I am doing this even if you do not want me to." Jaxx says, almost seductively, and he starts kissing Kor's torso all over. He kisses his chest, listening for some kind of reaction from him. Jaxx reaches back up and ties the remaining part of the belt to a post behind the couch, practically immobilizing Kor.

"I swear to God! I will fucking wreck you!" Kor says, frantic. Jaxx looks at him, licks his lips slightly, and speaks.

"I would like to see you try." He kisses Kor again, almost ferociously, and then slowly moves back down to his torso, kissing practically every inch of him that he can, keeping his hands on Kor's thighs. Kor tugs on the belt, but it doesn't budge. Jaxx looks up at him and smiles.

"I hate you so much." Kor says, smiling widely.

"I hate you too." Jaxx says in reply, taking Kor's pants off.

Jaxx knows that he doesn't even properly realize what he's doing, but he's doing it anyway. It's been thousands of years since he's gotten a decent fuck until Kor came along. At this point, everything he's had to hold back is unleashing itself. Jaxx takes off Kor's boxers and immediately starts sucking his dick, shocking both himself and Kor, who lets out a short moan. Jaxx pauses and gets his shirt gag and ties it around Kor's mouth, getting a small grunt of protest.

"Do you want us to get caught?" Jaxx says quietly, leaning back down to Kor's dick. Kor has never really quite done anything like this before, and after Cordia, he thought he wasn't going to ever again. But he's always liked Jaxx, and now that this is happening, it's like his most secret wishes and fantasies have come true. Kor knows that Jaxx is probably going to make quick work of him, but he doesn't count on it, considering he said he was going to get back at him. Jaxx slowly leans back, looking at Kor to see his confused reaction. He puts a hand on Kor's dick, so that he at least will have something that might drive him crazy, and he pulls the gag out of Kor's mouth.

"Fuck... I s-should've listened to you..." Kor says, biting his lip.

"I have a couple of questions for you." Kor looks at Jaxx.

"W-what?" Jaxx gets on the couch on Kor's left so that he can still jerk him off.

"Why have you never said anything before?"

Kor's breathing gets faster. "I... I didn't think you'd... fuck..." the rest of the sentence just trails off as Kor tilts his head back. Jaxx moves closer, practically whispering in Kor's ear.

"You like this, do you? Being the submissive one. It is driving you nuts. And," Kor's breath hitches as Jaxx finds a sensitive spot, "you have dreamt of doing this for as long as you have known me. You did not answer me before. Why did you not say anything?" Kor licks his lips slightly.

"I didn't think... you liked me... in this way..." he says through a couple of stifled moans.

"What do you think now?" Jaxx says, his voice slightly deepening, and Kor feels himself starting to tense up.

"F-fuck... don't j-judge a book b-by it's cover..." Kor arches his back slightly, "Ah! Fuck!" Jaxx smiles wider, going faster.

"So, now that you are mine," Jaxx says smoothly, "what are you gonna say about this now?" Kor can barely even register what Jaxx is saying to him.

"I-I fucking l-love it." He says shakily. Jaxx smiles a little wider and he kisses Kor.

"Good boy." Jaxx says, and Kor gasps slightly as he relaxes. He looks at Jaxx out of the corner of his eye. Jaxx looks at his hand, which is spattered with jizz, and he does something unexpected: he licks it off his hand.

"God... you're so fucking sexy..." Kor says breathlessly. Jaxx smiles.

"Why thank you." He tugs on one part of the belt and it all comes loose. Jaxx gets up to get some clothes for him and Kor, and Kor just recounts everything that just happened.

I decide to stop at Xan's tent, having heard he was released from the Med Center a few hours ago. I tap on the post and peek in slightly. It appears Xan didn't hear me, but I decide to stay silent for a moment to see if he'll do anything. Xan sighs, laying on the mat on the ground with his eyes closed. His shirt is off again, and I blush slightly. I also notice the fact that he isn't wearing pants either, and instantly look away. I move myself as if I just walked over and I tap on the post harder. I hear Xan get up, and he pulls the entrance flap aside, and when he sees it's only me, he smiles and steps aside. I smile and walk into the tent.

"What were you up to today?" Xan asks calmly, as if he isn't even phased by the fact that he's almost naked in front of me. I sit on the cot and shrug,

"Apparently saving Jaxx's life." Xan tilts his head.

"What?" I nod.

"Yeah, after he got done fixing you up he suddenly threw up and looked like he was seriously sick. And he told me a rumor that might be able to save him because his race weren't built to live as long as he has, and so I helped him." Xan smiles curiously.

"I've heard a couple rumors too. What'd he tell you?" I laugh slightly, "Well the first one he told me was that he could just find one of his own people or he could find someone he likes and pretty much have sex with them in order to live." Xan bursts out laughing, "Seriously?" I nod, laughing, "Yes seriously! The someone he likes part was part of the second rumor." Xan starts laughing even harder.

Once we both calm down enough to even actually say anything without breaking out into laughter, Xan asks, "So who was it?" I smirk.

"You might already know." Xan pauses, then his eyes light up.

"Korax?? Yes!" He puts a fist into the air out of excitement, and I almost fall out of the cot from laughing so hard. "God I knew they would be so damn cute together!" Xan says, smiling ridiculously.

"I know right?" I say. Xan gets a little more serious.

"Adraxian, do you still have that picture?" I hesitate.

"Yeah, why?" Xan takes a moment to think of an answer.

"Can I see it again?" I dig around my pockets and find the picture, and I hand it to Xan. "So... you're... a Gragzul?" Xan says slowly. I nod.

"I'm the baby in the picture. I don't know the two Gragzuls, but the one that had this picture must've either known them or was one of them." I dig out the letter and unfold it, "I also managed to decipher the part in the bloodstain. It says:

'Your father and I decided that we were going to tell you the truth. The whole truth. You aren't our son. Maybe at this point you already know this. But when you were born, you had to be given to someone. Your mother was going to fight, and your father was unable to take care of you. Remor and I, we were afraid you would accidentally expose yourself without even realizing it. But you just seemed like a normal child to everyone. Aside from the hair and eyes, of course. Your parents told us they were scared that you might end up being found and killed, so when Remor and I convinced them that we were going to keep you safe, it was a very hard promise to keep in the following years. At the time, Remor and I had been part of a small rebellion group called the 'Halflings'. Ironic, now that I think about it.

It was mostly a secret to both of us families so, for the safety of all parties involved, we didn't even learn each other's names. But, if it's possible, you might find your father. Just be careful if you do. He might not even realize it's you. I love you, Adraxian, as if you were my own flesh and blood. We wouldn't have traded you for the world. I hope that you are okay with only just now knowing the truth. We hope that you can understand, and that you aren't forced to leave. Your family was... they had to... it was for your own good. I'm sorry. I can't do this, I hope you can forgive me.

Sincerely,

Ream'

They were afraid to tell me." I say quietly. Xan sits across from me, silent. He looks as if he's questioning every moral in his life. "Xanthos, what are you thinking about...?" I say slowly. He looks at me. He speaks, in such a quiet voice that I almost don't hear him.

"Who am I?"
