Training

"Fine, though I have to ask if you are serious about this" Mila asked, Joey quickly replied, "Yes, I worked for someone that said I just needed to impress them at the tournament".

"Oh really, Who was that?"

"Her name was Sina, we worked together at a butcher shop...wait Sina!" Joey shouted, as he completely forgot he had a Job and he missed close to a month and didn't even remember he had a job.

Mila's face looked weird and quickly asked "Something you wanna tell me?", it seemed like she wanted to know more about the name. Joey told Mila about Sina and how he worked at the butcher shop.

"I don't think she will be mad but maybe she is secretly worried" Mila replied, he shook his head and said, "Not Sina, she's just scary". Mila went into deep thought of where she heard the name, it was somehow familiar to her, she tried not to dwell on it too much.

"Is there something wrong?" Joey asked but Mila simply replied "No" he then followed up with "Is there cool Martial Arts I can get? Maybe something with a lot of firepower and if I get the better movement I should be able to be really strong"

"Baha, If anyone could get stronger because of power and movement then anyone would get strong" Mila found his eagerness cute but he was too inexperienced. She realized he needed a reality check.

"If you want to get stronger then you need to continue your awakening, It's as simple as that, I don't think you know how weak you are sometimes" she paused, then explained "You have to finish all 3 awakenings, after that, you will start cultivating by yourself, at that time you would achieve Early Stage Rank 1.

The difference between the two is like night and day, the most you can do now is train and awaken your body, limit yourself, you just need to meditate and focus on using your energy."

"Fine, Teach me how to train first"

"Good choice, we need something that will make your body struggle. Awakening will be easier because it will want to awaken again to support the training that you are doing" Mila started to demonstrate but she did something shocking.

She proceeded to use her hands and slapped a nearby cliff, the cliff was shattered and broke into large pieces. It was destroyed. She lifted a large cliff and brought it over, the superhuman display made Joey's jaw slack.

After she came over she set the rock down, took a robe and tied it excessively. She then walked over to Joey and ordered him to turn around.

He complied, she tied the rock on him and ordered "Start running around the Island", she never failed to have her playful smirk on her face.

"What!... You're joking...right?" Joey asked, but he already knew the answer. The rock was 100 times bigger than him.

"Run 10 laps around the Island at full speed, keep going even if it hurts. We need our body to want to awaken, and that means reaching our limits. Then you can use your own energy and achieve your second awakening" she paused then said "It should take around a day, try and do better"

"How did all the awakenings take you?"

Mila thought about her answer then replied "Maybe a month for all 3 awakenings, I might have taken an extra week but no more. But I did my second awakening in a day, the third awakening took a majority of the time", As Mila said this Joey couldn't help but look up to her. She never showed weakness. She was just the embodiment of badass but she still showed kindness to Joey, even wanting to take on a motherly role.

Even though she was scary, she was a kind person if you didn't get on her wrong side.

"I'm going to leave you and your sister here while I go back to the mainland, I need to get some stuff for the house"

"Isn't it too early? What if Sajin's family finds you, they won't give up easily "

"Do you know about the Sajins family?" Milla never questioned him about it. It was no secret "Nevermind, they are probably long gone, he probably came out unscathed. Stop worrying" I have to go right now, hurry and start running. If you don't make it by the end of the day I will beat you up."

Mila then shot off into the horizon. Joey gave it his all running and his face quickly turned red. He moved like a snail, he was basically walking. Rayla looked at him confused "Is Brother going crazy?" She never paid him any mind and played in the water.

The shoreline was 30miles round, as Joey his first Mile he was sweating profusely. In his head, he focused himself on taking one more step. All this while he was just walking on muscle memory and kept his eyes closed to focus on the state of his body. Waiting for some kind of sign so he could meditate and try and trigger his 2nd awaken.

As he kept moving he moving forward and he was finally about to finish his second mile something fell from the sky onto him. It was heavy flew into Joey sinking him into the ground and raking up the sand.

Joey stayed still, he didn't know what just flew into him but it was heavy. After trying to ease the weight he was able to barely start breathing, He didn't feel any injuries when he finally started moving.

Whatever fell on him was rather large, he couldn't find any way to take it off himself. He tried to grab it from the side but he didn't have enough power. Finally, he was able to grab one of the sides, he felt it but it was soft, squishy.

He did this more times, it was even softer, he started playing with it unknowingly until he heard a weird noise.
