Ray reaches home at around midnight , quietly sneaking to the shower room to clean himself off from the dust and dirt . When he got out of the bathroom, his grandma stood at the front door of the bathroom looking at him. This gave Ray a fright.

"What the hell, Grandma ?!? Omg that scared me. "

His grandma giggles at Ray's reaction.

"I'm sorry Ray, I couldn't sleep, and I heard you come home," his grandma said with a chuckle. "How was your day?"

Ray hesitated for a moment, not sure if he should tell his grandma about the incident at the abandoned school building. He knew that she would eventually find out, and he didn't want to keep it from her.

"It was fine, but something did happened at the abandoned school building near Fatima's house," Ray said, trying to keep his voice steady.

His grandma's expression immediately turned serious.

"What happened?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.

"We found a Kunti, one of the escape souls," Ray said, trying to downplay the severity of the situation. "But we managed to seal it, and no one was hurt."

His grandma let out a sigh of relief. "I'm glad you're safe," she said, giving him a hug. "But please be careful, those souls are dangerous, and you never know what they're capable of."

Ray nodded, still feeling shaken from the incident. "I will be careful, I promise," he said, giving his grandma a reassuring smile.

"Good, now come, I made some tea for you," she said, leading him to the kitchen. As they sat down and sipped on their tea, Ray couldn't help but feel grateful for his grandma's presence and the warmth of their home.

"My child, remember I used to tell you some of the scary stories when you were young ? It looks like you will need to recall them if you want to go against the souls." His grandma suggested.

" Yeah, I remember you told me about the kuntilanak and how to weaken them, and it resemble so much to a Kunti" Ray said as he recalled the plan he came up was inspired by that memory.

" They weren't just stories, my boy .... they are history discussed as stories ."

The next day, being Monday, Ray woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside his window. As he stretched and yawned, he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over him. The events of the previous night were still fresh in his mind, but at least he and Sophia had managed to seal the Kunti. He made his way out of his room and into the living room, where he found Xie Yi sitting on the couch chatting with his grandma.

"Hey, Xie Yi. What are you doing here so early?" Ray asked, still rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

Xie Yi turned to face him with a smile. "I just wanted to check in on you. Make sure you're okay after yesterday. Plus, I figured we could walk to college together."

Ray nodded, grateful for her concern. "Yeah, that sounds good. Let me just grab some breakfast, and we can head out."

As they ate breakfast and chatted, Ray couldn't help but think about the events of the previous night. He couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off, like there was something he was missing. He made a mental note to ask Sophia more about it when they next met.

After breakfast, they said goodbye to his grandma and set off for college.

As they walked to the train station, Xie yi groaned at the thought of P.E. class that day, which was going to be running. Ray just laughed and said, "Come on, it's just running."

Xie yi shot back, "Bruh, you have a body of a beast. Of course, running is nothing to you. Ugh."

As Ray and Xie Yi boarded the train, heading to college, Ray couldn't help but think about the mysterious entity, Jihui, that the Kunti had mentioned the previous night. He turned to Xie Yi, who he knew had a keen interest in ghost stories and myths, and asked if she knew anything about a Jihui.

Xie Yi furrowed her brows in thought before her face lit up with recognition. "Ah, a Jihui," she began. "They're a type of parasitic spirit, also known as a Sakah. They use their host's body as a vessel to carry out evil acts. In some cases, the host may lose control of their body entirely as the Sakah takes over."

They are known to possess people who have a weak will or have a lot of negative emotions, and they feed off of their host's energy. They are also known to be very difficult to get rid of, as they can jump from host to host and are hard to detect. "Wow, that sounds dangerous," Ray said, a little uneasy about the idea of a parasitic spirit being able to take over someone's body.

Ray thinks for a while, still a bit confuse , if the Jihui feed on negative emotions, how is he an ideal vassal? He starts to question himself if there are any dark emotions in him .
