Puppy eyes

The man stared at his wife who was lying in his arms in bed. And selfishly, he liked her being unconscious because she would always cling to him when she wasn't in her right state of mind which was what she was doing now.

So, he pulled the bedsheet to lay with her underneath it. Kenny then pushed his wife's body into his and stroked her hair.

For a moment earlier he thought it was the end of him when she fell into his arms, unconscious. If not because he was good at controlling his emotions, he'd have lost his mind because the moment she fell into his arms, he couldn't think straight, all that roamed in his mind was that she was dead and was now going to where she belonged.

But he refused to take that, he teleported her to the bedroom and lay her down calmly on the bed and took breaths in, all this was his fault. He shouldn't have acted like her father. He had noticed the fear she expressed earlier as she ran from one angle to another.
