A devil: Return of the dangerous beauty

"Agh...why.?..whyy?" Yunki spoke to the man in front of her as she spat out a mouthful of blood. The man had a huge grin on his face. He had a fragile looking Yan Shilen in his arms as if protecting her and preventing her from seeing the bloody action.

"Why? Are you asking me why?" the man smirked. "You were the one got to my nerves. You slapped me right? Now I will punish you till you see hell. I WILL SHOW NO MERCY. Now that your whole family is against you, I can do anything with you. I can even kill you. No one will pity you. No one will even come in your funeral." the man said as he kicked her stomach. Yunki tolerated the pain because it was much better than the pain she was feeling in her heart.

"..I..I...I.." Yunki couldn't continue talking because of severe blood loss. She could only watch the heartless man torturing her.

"Take her and do whatever you want with her. She's out of anyone's concerns from now on." the man ordered a few well built guys next to him who looked like gangsters. "Make sure you give her the worst death anyone has ever heard of." saying this the man walked away.

Yunki was left alone with those human beasts who were looking at her with eyes full of lust. One of the men was making his way to her when he heard elegant footsteps coming towards them.

"Hey wait a minute" She saw the girl who was acting fragile a minute ago in her man's arm who was now walking towards her with arrogance in each step. "I need to tell her some thing. You all wait at the door for some time till I finish speaking with her." she said

"But..ma'am.." the men kept their head hung low. "Didn't you hear me?" Yan Shilen said angrily.

"Oh..okay.." then the men walked to the door and waited for their turn.

"Why is she acting so arrogant now? Wasn't she afraid of us before when she was with our boss?" one of the men whispered.

"..Shh...be careful. She will kill us alive if she hears us. She is the boss's woman. She always acts innocent in front of the world but only we know the real poisonous Yan Shilen. I heard from the Yan family's maids when I was sent to protect her by the boss that she even killed her own sister when she was a mere teenager out of jealousy. But I was not allowed to spread rumors so I kept my mouth shut that time. Now when I think of it, the girl inside is really pitiful. But again..it was her fault for not being aware of a poisonous snake lurking around her all the time." the other man said with horror in his eyes.

"You mean that the girl inside before was the real innocent?" another man spoke with surprise.

"You can say that. Let's stop talking otherwise we'll be the one dying today instead." the man said

"Yeah...let's stop it here." the others agreed

Meanwhile inside a small haunted looking house

"I'm so sorry my best friend. Please forgive me for all this. I told my hubby to let you go once but you know how he is." Yan Shilen said while looking pitiful

"you...why did you..." Xi Yunki couldn't speak more.

"Heh..you thought that I will say all these things to you and beg for your forgiveness? Then you were wrong my best friend. Totally wrong. It's true that I plotted against you and turned myself into the victim. I hated you from the beginning. Who gave you the right to be my hubby's friend back then? You were not deserving. He didn't like you. He used to like me. See for yourself now. He knows that I did all those things to you but despite being your fiancé, he supported me and helped me destroy you." Yan Shilen let out a cold laugh.

Xi Yunki felt like her heart being pierced a thousand times. She never have thought that the best friend whom she loved more than her family and the man whom she loved and gave her everything would betray her like this. The man Ji Xuan for whom Xi Yunki had left her family's business and joined his company only to work day and night nonstop. She had turned the Ji corporate to what it was now. Ji corporate now was the 4th largest company in the whole country.

For the so called 'best friend' Yan Shilen, she spent millions to give her nice dresses she wanted. She did everything that Yan Shilen wanted.

Xi Yunki was a loner from her childhood. She never got love from her own parents. In her family, her grandfather was the only one who spent his love for Yunki. But because of Yan Shilen, she thought that her grandfather was only acting to love her so she disregarded his love. She acted rebellious and disregarded the family's rules making the Xi family ashamed in front of the world. All this was for Yan Shilen. Yan Shilen had gave her the idea that if she acted that way, she might grab the attention of her parents.

Yan Shilen grew up in a small town away from the Imperial. She led a very poor but happy life there. She had a younger brother with whom she shared all her thoughts. Her parents were also mere farmers but both treasured her. But her happiness didn't last long. She found out that she was the heiress of a very big family in the Imperial. They had lost her after being born and had adopted a girl of her own age to fulfill her duties as a heiress. But now, when they found out the real heiress of their family, they wanted to take her with them given that she was their own bloodline.

Xi Yunki was very disheartened knowing that she was not the real child of her parents. She also didn't want to go to the Imperial and become rich. But her parents forced her. Yunki was merely 11 years old when she left the small town and went to the Imperial. She missed her brother and parents very much. She wanted to go see them but was not allowed.

Unlike her previous family, this new rich family of hers was very distant. She never received love from her parents. Her parents disregarded her because of her bluntness. They really thought that a girl like her was not fit to be the heiress of a powerful family like theirs. She would be threatened everyday by her stepsister. Her parents always showed love towards her stepsister, Xi Leishya.

Xi Leishya was a very arrogant girl. She lived in this family and ruled all over the house before but after this new girl came, she felt her authority threatened. Leishya always wanted to conquer the family business but she knew that she wasn't the real daughter and when the real heiress is found, the real will take her place.

This thought made her very mad. And now when Xi Yunki was home, she wouldn't spare any chance to make her look like a fool in front of her parents.

Xi Yunki was very unknown to the rules of Xi family. As a child, she was bullied by her sister every now and then. She didn't know what she had done bad to her stepsister to mistreat her this way. Her parents also never cared about her and only loved Xi Leishya. As a child, how couldn't she feel sad and jealous? The only exception was her grandfather who spoilt her in every way.

It was because of this that when she felt Yan Shilen give her priority and loved her, Yunki gave her everything she wanted. Yunki longed for love so much. That's why she couldn't feel anything suspicious in her 'best friend'.

Time passed slowly and in the influence of Yan Shilen, Xi Yunki became more rebellious disregarding her family and spending all the money given to her. It made her stepsister even more reasons to make her look like a burden. Yunki's grandfather tried many times to coax her but she didn't listen.

With growing age, she became more and more rebellious which made her parents even more angrier at her. Her grandfather also stopped coaxing her.

At that time, Ji Xuan showed up and showered her with all the love she never got. He would buy her flowers, take her to movie and all those sweet things. Ji corporate was not much known in the industry then. Xi Yunki's family disproved their relationship which made Yunki very angry. He was the 'love of her life'. How could they disregard him? Thinking this, she joined the Ji corporation and took charge of all the things. Her true capabilities were shown there. She with her own capability, made the Ji corporation 4th among all the business families. It wouldn't be worng to say that she built the Ji empire.

Little did she know that her 'best friend' and her 'love of her life' were merely using her to accomplish their goals.

After that, she disagreed to return to the Xi Empire and disregarded her grandfather's proposal of joining Xi Empire. She noticed that she and Ji Xuan haven't spent much time due to the business matters so she decided to give him a surprise by showing up at his home. But alas! when she showed up with a bouquet of flowers, she accidentally saw her 'lover' and 'best friend' making love. She was very disheartened at that time.

Ji Xuan was very quick and tried explaining her but she only gave him and Yan Shilen a tight slap. This ignited the fire inside Ji Xuan. From then on, Ji Xuan blacklisted her from their business empire and plotted against her and made her a disgrace. Her grandfather took her in that time.

Once Ji Xuan had found that Yan Shilen was drugged at a well known and the evidence was all directed towards Xi Yunki. Only then she found out that it was all their plan of embarrassing her. Due to this incident, her family's business went down. She was called a slut, a whore and many more. She was an eyesore. The most disheartening this was that her grandfather also didn't believe in her that time and disregarded her as a Xi.

She didn't have a place to live and food to eat. Her eyes were red from crying when she felt her consciousness leaving. When Yunki woke up, she was in an old wooden house which looked scary. She was beaten badly. Every part of her was bleeding and aching from the brutal beatings. She didn't know what was going on until she saw a man and a woman walking towards her with a grin on each of their faces.

"We're getting married next month. I wanted to invite you but it seems that you won't be attending. It's okay. Just bless us from Hell" Yan Shilen said with a smirk.

Xi Yunki had a heart to slap her hard but she couldn't. Seeing the angry eyes Yan Shilen became more delightful.

"I gave you the chance to enjoy yourself before dying. I gave my hubby the idea of getting you sleep with his bodyguards. See I love you so much that I'm so considerate of your feelings. You should thank me for getting a chance to sleep with the mighty Ji family's guards." Yan Shilen said acting sweetly.

Thinking about that Xi Yunki couldn't help but shiver in fear. She didn't want to die a death like that.

Yan Shilen was very satisfied seeing Yunki's expression. "Have fun baby. I'm going now." Yan Shilen smirked as she kicked Yunki for the last time before leaving.

Xi Yunki was left alone in the house. She could hear hurried footsteps coming towards her. She couldn't even imagine her state after some time.

Those men once again entered the house with eyes full of lust looking towards her body. One of them was about to lay his hand on her chest when they heard a loud bang.

BANG!

"Who's that?"the man who was about to take action was very irritated. After that, Yunki could hear loud noises coming like someone was fighting. In her half gone consciousness she heard someone say

"Young miss! Don't worry we're here. We'll kill these bastards."
