Her father had a temper and he decided to use an authoritative tone. "Su Xiaomo, this is outrageous!"

"Shut up!" Su Xiaomo rolled her eyes at him and rose to her feet.

"We're only doing this for your own good… you're already old enough to marry and Jiayu is such a wonderful guy. What more do you want?" Her mother sounded distressed.

He Jiayu said, "Momo, calm down. We can talk about this…" We don't have to get married if you don't want to.

However, before he could say the last part, Su Xiaomo looked like she was having a meltdown. "Don't talk to me! We're done!"

She marched toward the door, caring about nothing else.

He Jiayu followed her out in a hurry.

"Momo! What's all this about? You're breaking up with me because I met your parents?" He Jiayu was baffled.

Su Xiaomo threw him off, hailed a taxi, and went back to the home they shared. She packed everything of hers, then walked out with a suitcase.
