An Unreasonable Empress

"I heard that you asked for a girl from the brothel. Are you following others and keeping a mistress in a splendid abode?" the empress asked casually the next day.

"Your Majesty is very well-informed!." Ren Baqian exclaimed and gave her a thumbs-up.

The empress glanced at him. Was knowing about this matter considered being well-informed?
