CHAPTER 79: Atelier Lumiere

　　Stepping out of the vehicle, I was met with a sight that caused my eyes to widen in surprise.

　　Its large, mirrored windows displayed mannequins adorned in designer clothes that sparkled under the warm glow of strategically placed spotlights. A golden nameplate gleamed above the entrance, announcing the establishment in bold lettering: "Atelier Lumière."

　　My breath hitched in my throat. Atelier Lumière. It was one of the most prestigious and expensive boutiques in the entire city, and the brand name was very famous in the country. A place where celebrities and socialites alike shopped for exclusive, couture pieces.

　　"Alexander," I began, my voice laced with confusion. "What are we doing here?"

　　He chuckled, the sound warm and inviting. "We're here to get some clothes. For dinner."
