Chapter: The Interrogation

The room was silent after Sona, Tayo, Pratham, and Mikasa left. Adam stood still for a moment, taking a deep breath as he stared at the closed door.

The weight of the upcoming task pressed on his mind. Alone in the dimly lit space, he muttered to himself,

"Time to finish what I started." Without wasting another second, Adam activated his teleportation skill. A faint glow enveloped him, and in an instant, he disappeared.

The scene shifted to a decrepit building, long abandoned and forgotten. Dust coated the crumbling walls, and broken beams hung precariously from the ceiling.

Weak rays of sunlight filtered through cracks in the boarded windows, casting streaks of light on the dusty floor.

The air was thick and heavy, carrying the faint scent of rust and decay.
