Chapter 1Chapter One: The Enigma of Dorian Vex

In the sprawling city of Verenthia, shadows danced along the cobblestone streets as dusk fell. Among the flickering lanterns and whispered secrets, a figure moved with purpose. Dorian Vex, the notorious villain known for his cunning intellect and ruthless ambitions, was not the person one would expect to become the savior of a world on the brink of chaos.

For years, Dorian had built his reputation through manipulation and treachery. A master of deception, he had orchestrated countless schemes that left governments trembling and powerful figures in his wake. Yet, beneath the facade of his malevolence lay a mind that understood the delicate balance of power—a mind that could see the looming threat that few others recognized.

It began with a subtle shift in the air, an unease that crept through Verenthia like a chilling breeze. Ancient prophecies, long forgotten, whispered of a darkness that would consume the world. A force so malevolent that it thrived on fear and despair. The Council of Elders, an assembly of the city's most revered leaders, dismissed these warnings as mere folklore, clinging to their delusions of control.

Dorian, however, felt the tremors of impending doom. He had spent years studying forbidden texts, collecting knowledge that others deemed too dangerous. And now, that knowledge gnawed at him, urging him to act. With every passing day, the darkness grew stronger, feeding off the city's ignorance and arrogance.

One evening, as he surveyed the city from his hidden lair, Dorian's piercing gaze fell upon a gathering storm. The skies darkened, and lightning split the horizon. It was then that he made a decision that would confound everyone—he would save the world, but not for the reasons they might think.

He donned a cloak that concealed his identity and ventured into the heart of Verenthia. The streets buzzed with life, yet he moved like a ghost, unnoticed amidst the throngs of citizens. He sought out the one person who could help him—a rogue sorceress named Elara, whose affinity for dark magic made her an outcast among the Council.

Elara was a force of nature, her reputation as fierce as the storms she conjured. When Dorian approached her, she eyed him with suspicion. "Why should I help you, Vex? Your kind only brings chaos," she spat, her voice laced with defiance.

"I seek knowledge, not chaos," he replied, his tone steady. "The darkness is coming, and we are the only ones who can stop it. I need your power to forge an alliance that can stand against it."

Intrigued yet wary, Elara considered his proposition. "You think I would trust you? You who thrives on betrayal?"

Dorian stepped closer, his gaze unwavering. "Trust is a luxury we cannot afford. We are bound by a common enemy. Help me, and I will ensure that when this is over, the Council will recognize your strength instead of fearing it."

Reluctantly, she agreed. The two unlikely allies began to plot, delving deep into the ancient texts Dorian had gathered. They discovered that the darkness was not merely a force but an entity—an ancient being known as Malakar, who sought to devour the very essence of life itself.

As they raced against time, Dorian's motivations began to shift. The thrill of power he once craved was eclipsed by a sense of responsibility. He realized that the people of Verenthia, despite their flaws, deserved a chance to fight for their future. His heart, long encased in ice, began to thaw.

Yet, the Council remained oblivious, engrossed in their feigned control. Dorian and Elara knew that to save the world, they would have to confront not only Malakar but also the misguided leaders who could hinder their efforts.

As the storm approached, Dorian stood at the precipice of his greatest challenge. Could he, the antagonist of so many tales, truly become the hero the world needed?

The answer lay in the choices he would make in the days to come, choices that would define his legacy forever.

I Can Copy And Evolve Talents

Across the vast convolution of worlds, divine beings rule as absolute sovereigns—each god assigned dominion over a singular realm. Skirmishes are inevitable, whether for power, amusement, or sheer pettiness. One such battle, between Nexus, the God of Trickery, and an aging, senile deity, resulted in an anomaly… A soul misplaced. Elliot, an ordinary man, was never meant for Ul’Tra-el. But fate, or perhaps a cosmic prank, had other plans. Unlike other worlds, Ul’Tra-el is an aberration—one that developed a voice. A voice that diverged from the natural order. A voice that changed everything. Its foundation cracked, leaking dimensions into one another. Rifts tore open like festering wounds, vomiting forth unspeakable horrors—monsters not meant to exist. But the world did not sit idly by. In response—perhaps an act of self-preservation—the world gifted its inhabitants power. Talents awakened, granting people extraordinary abilities. And for every rift sealed, the Voice of Ul rewarded them generously. Survival was simple: fight, grow stronger, and close the rifts… or die trying. In this ruthless, blood-soaked reality, Northern—a white-haired boy burdened by his past life—was reincarnated. But unlike the chosen heroes, he awakened as a talentless nobody. No power. No strength. No future. And when death loomed over him—when despair clawed at his soul and the cold grip of the failure threatened to take him— A Voice responded: [System Notice] [Your Soul cannot take a form.] [Searching for a Unique Pattern Ability…] [Searching…] [Search Found.] [A Unique System Ability has been detected.] [You Can Copy And Evolve Talents] ... Follow Northern through his journey as he becomes the pinnacle of this world. This a story about a white-haired boy’s rise from rubbles!! Note: This is an overpower genre but MC does not just start off like that. Even though MC can copy talents he doesn't just jump around copying talents because there's a limitation. However, his rise to strength is depicted and is an experience to enjoy. The first few hundreds would be frustrating to follow because MC is weak but that makes the experience all the more interesting when MC finally gets freaking strong and starts wiping the floor with everyones asses.
