-daniel: "hmm it's 7:30am I gotta get up and make sure that brat makes it early to school today"

He yawned then got out of bed..

He did his usual morning routine then took a seat to have his breakfast.

"Knowing that I have friends makes eating alone feel sad even though I've been doing it my entire life.."

Daniel received a text on his phone while he was eating.

"Must be Anya spamming in the chatroom from morning"

[Mina: good morning 😝, thought maybe we could walk to school together?]

He wasn't expecting the text to be from mina what made him stare at it for about a minute without saying or doing anything.

[Daniel: GM, sure!!😋😋]

After replying to her, Daniel crossed his arms and buried his head in them on the table to hide his face that was blushing so hard.

"daaaaamn why's this happening to me? She is giving me this feeling in my stomach!"

-kai: "they are called butterflies dumbass"

-daniel: "k-kai!? H-how did you get here? When??"

-kai: "I have a copy of the keys mutt!

"please hold yourself from catching feelings until I make sure that she neither has a boyfriend nor is in love with someone you got it? I don't want you to get hurt"

-kai: "no, not yet.. my mom was sleeping, I didn't want to eat alone, bought some apples and cookies on my way here"

-daniel: "how's she doing?"

#at school after the exam#

-daniel: "hey guys yall are here"

-mina: "we were waiting for you"

When mina told him that they were waiting for him which includes her,

He couldn't help but smile widely.

-kai: "what are you smiling at? Why did it take you so long.. it was so easy you slow empty-headed"

Daniel smiled at mina awkwardly then replied

-daniel: "yea I-it was easy but I love taking my time and focus real good unlike you, non-avail big body"

-kai: "the entire school finished and went out except for you"

-daniel: "how did you know about the entire school big brain?"

-kai: "because endless people kept coming to mina and ask her about how she did in the exam brainless"

Jay was watching them from distance and trying to know what they were making a fuss about. He also noticed that mina was standing with them.

-Rony: "this is the new remake, it is better than the original one"

-Sezar: "better? You know nothing.. what do you think jay? Jay..?"

Jay was completely absent minded and unfocused but calling out his name several times made him snap out of it

-jay: "y-yeah? What did you say?"

-sezar: "what are you staring at?"

-jay: "nothing important"

-Rony: "mina? Why's she with these dudes, she knows they hate you,"

-jay: "i don't care, she can be friends with whoever she wants, yeah? I don't own her"

he left his friends and walked away

-sezar: "I feel bad for him"

-Rony: "same"

-anya: "shut up you two! you're scaring the girl away"

Kai and Daniel didn't hear what anya said and continued to mock each other.

"huuuf it's no use let's go you'll get used to it" she held mina's hand and dragged her behind.

-mina: "haha, they are cute though"

-anya: "I know right? They are like kids.. daniel is a sweetheart, he is shy and quiet but he is fun"

-mina: "I see...."

she turned around to steal a last glance at Daniel before leaving the floor with anya.

-daniel: "instead of inflating your muscles go suction that big butt"

-kai: "big butt?? Why don't you watch your small D? Anya my butt is..?huh?"

-daniel: "thanks to you they left without us"

-kai: "I know where they went, we planned to have lunch together in a restaurant when you were busy suckin the teacher's toe to get EXTRA POINTS."

-Daniel: "HAH joke on you, I DON'T EVEN NEED EXTRA POINTS, I did great"

-kai: "I'm surprised that you could remember anything from what mina taught you.. you didn't only get flashbacks of her lips moving?"

-daniel: "what? Of course not! I'm not a pervert like you"

-kai: "you're becoming a savage"

Kai suddenly carried Daniel on his shoulder.

Daniel was so surprised and embarrassed as the entire school kept looking at them.

-daniel: "heyyy!! put me down this is embarrassing.. everyone's watching us"

-kai: "your legs are short, if you slow us down we will be late for the girls, I don't want anya to eat my food"

-daniel: "fuck you..."

Daniel put his head down to hide his face hoping that no one would recognize him.

*in the restaurant*

-anya: "so what do you think of daniel"

-mina: "I think he is cute and adorable"

-anya: "I mean what is he to you?"

-mina: "a friend? I want to know more about him and surpass this awkward phase"

-anya: "a friend I see.. I'll take that for now"

A few moments later Daniel entered the restaurant walking ahead of kai with a frown on his face. As soon as mina saw him she waved at him from her seat.

-kai: "hey look your mommy was waiting for you"

-daniel: "I told you I'm mad at you, don't talk to me"

When they got to the table, Daniel took the seat next to mina and kai the one next to anya.

-kai: "oh you didn't order yet?"

-anya: "we were busy having girls talk"

-kai: "hmm you told her about our first time?"

-anya: "w-what what first time dummy?! He- he is joking this is kai you know him"

-kai : "ooooh you didn't"

Mina was just laughing so hard at whatever kai says. As for Daniel.. he was blushing and so embarrassed.

-daniel: "okay this is it, I'm leaving.. this kai is whatever"

Daniel stood up to leave but kai grabbed his hand stopping him.

-kai: "you're shy son or you still mad at me?"

-mina: "why's he mad? What did you do to him??"

-kai: "eeee scary! Your mommy's willing to kick my ass danny"

Daniel covered his face with his hand not saying a thing, As kai continued..

"nothing danny's mommy.. I just came here carrying him on my shoulder"

-mina: "what!!?"

-anya: "you know what?.. im not even surprised anymore, daniel if you're thinking of killing him let's do it together"

-daniel: "I'll be happy."

-kai: "I can't believe this.. my girlfriend and bestfriend are planning to kill me, how tragic.. poor kai poor kai, you are surrounded by fake people"

Kai started patting his own shoulder and fake sobbing sounds,

In these moments the waiter came with their order.

"here's your food young ladies"

-kai: "hello? Are we invisible ladies boy?"

-daniel: "KAI!"

-kai: "what?"

"i-im sorry these two were here for longer that's why.."

Kai lifted one eyebrow with a closed hand resting on his cheek and the index finger pointing up while giving him a scary stare and said

-kai: "and?"

".. a-anyway enjoy your meal"

-mina: "is it his birthday? I didn't know.."

-anya: "no it's not"

-mina: "daniel?"

-daniel: "he must be so happy roasting so many people today.."

Kai had a silly side smile on his face and seemed to be very proud and happy.
