003 Aegon Will Protect!

"AHHHH!! FUCK YOU!! YOU SON OF A BITCH!!"

*RRROOOAAARRR*

......…..

24 moons later,

'Ah! Fuck that beast! Does it not have a fucking brain!? Why the fuck does that thing kill me the moment I enter my dreams? And why the fuck is it even coming into my dreams!!?'

A two-year-old boy flailed his arms in the air while his brows creased together.

The boy had silver-white hair and bright purple eyes. He was wearing regal clothes of brown color with golden embroideries.

He sat on the ground with his tiny hands clenched, with a few dragon figurines in front of him.

Behind him were two maids overlooking the prince, who was supposed to play with the toys while the Queen was being checked by the maesters.

The two maids looked at each other with a knowing glance while a wry smile adorned their faces.

The maids knew the prince wasn't even going to give those figurines a glance, but the Queen had insisted that they be brought so if Aegon were to take an interest in them, he could play.

SIGH

'There he goes again…' One of the maids sighed in exhaustion as she watched Aegon flail his arms as if he were deeply frustrated by something.

"The prince is truly….peculiar." The other maid said in a hushed tone.

She has been taking care of the prince since he was four moons old, and she has never seen him cry.

But there was one thing she found about the prince that she found rather odd: 'He only cries when he needs the queen's attention, specifically whenever the queen feels down.'

SIGH

The maids sighed once again when they saw the prince throw away the figurine of a three-headed dragon as if he had a vendetta against it.

'The prince is truly peculiar.'

...….

Ahh! Fuck it! There is no point in thinking about that damned beast now!

I should think about the upcoming event instead!

It has been almost two years since I was born, and I have to say, apart from those fucking nightmares, I am living a pretty good life.

My new mother, Alicent Hightower, loves me very much, and although that coward of a father doesn't care much, he visits sometimes.

She is pregnant now, and a few moons later, she will give birth to my sister Helaena. I am not opposed to marrying her, but I am not eager to marry her either.

And then there's my half-sister. She is currently about twelve to thirteen years old, the age when women are married, at least according to the rules of this world.

Anyway, Rhaenyra visits me sometimes, but I can clearly see the conflict in her eyes.

I guess the rumors and whispers are already spreading, and she feels isolated.

I tried to play with her, but she seemed uninterested, so I gave up.

I mean, my goal is to save my family; my mother, and my siblings, not to try to comfort an early teenager who acts like a brat!

Daemon is still at war with that crabfeeder and isn't going to come until my second name day, at least.

That's right, I am having my second name day celebrated in a few days.

Am I looking forward to it? You could say so, but I also know that's when Rhaenyra really starts to feel the heat. And also that dipshit Jason Lannister asks for her hand in marriage, which further irritates her.

*SIGH*

Well, it's not like I can do anything about it; I am still a child.

*Haaah!*

I cannot change the events until I am at least five years old and major events happen during the next three years.

First, that shit of a Daemon seduces Rhaenyra.

Second, Rhaenyra marries a gay lord.

Third, she gives birth to bastards!

And the third thing confused me very much though; why can't she just fuck some other Valeryon, and why did it have to be that strong guy?

Truly stupid!

...…

As Aegon was having his own internal monologue, the heavy door to the room creaked open, and Alicent walked inside along with some maids.

She had grown a bit taller than when Aegon was born. With her brown hair tied into a neat bun and a regal gown of dull red adorning her body, she looked like a queen who is kind to her beloved citizens.

Aegon, noticing someone entering, turned around. His dull purple eyes immediately brightened as he stood up and ran toward her, "Mama!"

Alicent widened her eyes in surprise as Aegon ran across the room and hugged her leg.

She looked over her bump, trying to see Aegon, who was now giggling, "Hehehe, Mama!"

"Sweet child, did you play well?" she asked while a bright smile bloomed on her face.

Aegon nodded his head as he replied cutely, "Yes, Aegon, play well!"

Alicent laughed at her son's cute response, "Then, let's sit on the bed; Mother is tired from standing."

Aegon let go of his mother's leg and looked into her eyes; he could see the stress caused by pregnancy on her face.

"Okay," he said as he nodded his head, walking toward the bed in the middle.

The bed was big enough for five people to sleep comfortably, with tables on either side of the bed holding vases that had herbs and flowers in them, exuding a calm, soothing fragrance.

The duo sat on the bed with Aegon sitting close beside her as he hugged her arm, his gaze fixated on the baby bump.

Alicent, noticing her son's gaze, "Is my sweet one excited for his new sibling?" She asked with a small smile on her face.

Her expression softened visibly as she looked at her son, which she always thought was strange, as no matter how much of a foul mood she was in, her mood would brighten just by looking at his face: 'The gods have blessed me with you, my little Aegon!'

Aegon, listening to his mother's question, looked up to her with a bright, excited smile, "Yes! Aegon, excited! Aegon will play with new siblings!!"

Contrary to his bright expression on the outside, he was cringing on the inside, 'Ugh! Acting like a baby is tough!'

Alicent smiled brightly at Aegon's answer, "You sure will, my cute one." Alicent complimented her firstborn; he was a true blessing to her.

"Listen, Aegon," Alicent said, her voice a little serious as she looked at her son. "You should protect your siblings. There might come a time when someone might hurt your siblings."

Her green eyes shone intensely while a frown appeared on her face as she thought of the rogue prince: "You must protect your siblings, Aegon!"

A thick blanket of silence dropped over the room as the mother-son pair stared at each other.

'My queen, that isn't something you should tell a little child!' one of the maids cried inwardly; she understood the conflict rising from within, but even if that's the case, a two-year-old would never understand her words.

Aegon stood up on the bed, his height reaching Alicent's face.

His purple eyes glinted with determination as he answered, "Aegon, protect!"
