Dragon Slayer's Path

The fourth-floor boss was, surprisingly, a regular dragon. It was about twice the size of the lesser dragons I'd encountered before.

"Alright, let's start with the usual," I muttered. "Freezing Frost followed by Death Tornado."

A second later, the dragon was down, dead. Honestly, I expected it to survive the Death Tornado. I'd even wanted to test out the new Cannon Shot I've been working on. Oh well, there's always the next boss.

I strolled onward, casually searching for the boss room on the next floor. Without a map, finding it was a chore.

Just as I was starting to get impatient, my clone linked to Gaelik signaled he'd reached the fourth-floor boss room. Gaelik charged in, shining sword in hand, but the dragon's tail whipped out, slamming him against the wall. Out cold.

My clone pulled a potion from Gaelik's pouch, pouring it over him.

"Raaaaargh!" the dragon roared, clearly ready for round two.
