Elijah’s thoughts

At the same time as Dave is busy with Lucien elsewhere something is going on in Elijah's mind .

{Elijah pov}

---

That evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, Elijah found himself lost in thought. The events of the day weighed heavily on his mind. NiKlaus had fallen for Celene, a girl who seemed to be everything he needed. She was strong, capable of handling Klaus's fiery temper, and her strictness could guide him when he veered off course.

Celene is good for him. She brings out a side of Klaus that I haven't seen in years—a side that isn't consumed by rage and vengeance. But what future can we offer her? We are immortals, surviving on the blood of others, and we have no place to call home anymore. All we do is run from one place to another. If something were to happen to Celene, Klaus would be devastated. He's finally found someone who loves him after all the hate he's endured from our father over the years. We may have to leave again, and I fear we cannot defeat him.

With these troubling thoughts swirling in his mind, Elijah decided he needed to act. He made his way to Klaus's room, finding his brother brooding against the wall, his expression a mix of determination and worry.

Elijah: "Klaus, we need to talk about Celene. She's human, and our existence puts her in danger."

Klaus looked up, a fierce determination in his eyes. "I won't let anything happen to her, Elijah. She means everything to me."

Elijah:"But you have to understand the risks. Our father is a monster, and if he finds out about her…"

Klaus clenched his fists, frustration evident. "I refuse to let our father dictate my happiness. Celene deserves to know the truth about our world, and I will protect her."

Elijah sighed, knowing this conversation was just the beginning. He moved to fetch Rebekah and then Kol, knowing that they needed all hands on deck. He found Kol lounging in the common room, a playful grin on his face.

Elijah: "Kol, come with us , It's urgent."

Kol raised an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. "What's the matter? Did Rebekah confess to dave .?"

Elijah: "This isn't a joke, Kol. We're discussing Celene's safety, and we need to gather the family."

Kol shrugged, his playful demeanor shifting slightly. "Fine, fine. But I hope this isn't about someone is head over heels for a girl again . I mean, look at Rebekah. She's been staring at Dave like he's the last piece of meat at a table."

Rebekah shot Kol a glare, but a smile tugged at her lips. "Shut it, Kol. Its not right he is with Aurora ."

Kol grinned, undeterred. "Oh, come on! It's just a little fun. Besides, everyone knows Dave is engaged to Aurora, and Evelyn seems to have her claws in him too. It's a messy situation."

Rebekah: "And what does that have to do with anything? You're just trying to distract us from the real issue."

Kol shrugged, still smirking. "Just pointing out the irony. We're all tangled in our own messes, aren't we?"

They moved to Finn's room seeing us here his expression a mixture of concern and curiosity.

Finn: "What's going on? You all look serious."

Elijah: "We're discussing the implications of Klaus's relationship with Celene. If our father finds out…"

Finn stepped forward, sensing the gravity of the situation. "Then we need to act. We can't let our past dictate our future. We can protect her."

Klaus: "I refuse to run away again. I've spent too long hiding from him. Celene deserves to know the truth about our world."

Rebekah: "But what if she can't handle it? You know how dangerous our lives are. What if our father comes for her?"

Klaus's expression hardened. "I won't let that happen. I'll do whatever it takes to keep her safe. I won't lose her."

Kol leaned against the wall, arms crossed. "So what's the plan? Run away again or We just sit here and wait for the inevitable? I'd rather face the old man head-on."

Rebekah nodded, her tone more serious now. "And what about us? We can't keep running forever. Father would never stop coming after us. We need a home, a place where we can be safe. We deserve that much."

Elijah: "We need to create a safe haven for Celene, away from our enemies. We can't let fear control us. If we can set up a place where she can be protected, we might buy ourselves some time."

Klaus: "I won't allow our father to dictate our lives any longer. We will find a way to protect Celene and ourselves. I refuse to live in fear."

Kol smirked, trying to lighten the mood. "And I vote we keep a close eye on Rebekah's crush on Dave while we're at it. It's bound to lead to some entertaining drama."

Rebekah shot Kol a glare, but a smile tugged at her lips. "Kol, focus! This isn't about me. It's about Klaus and Celene."

Kol : "But it is about you too , what do you think how long would you be able to keep your self away from him. You need to acknowledge your feelings too."

Elijah: "We need to work together. If we can keep our family safe, we can figure out how to deal with father when the time comes."

Finn: "Right. But we can't keep hiding what we are forever. How long can we pretend to be normal around her and her friends? Sooner or later, she's going to notice something's off."

Klaus: "That's what worries me. If we wait too long, it could backfire. Celene deserves to know the truth about who we are, and I don't want to deceive her."

Rebekah crossed her arms, her brow furrowed. "And what if she can't accept it? What if she decides to walk away? We can't force her to stay in this life."

Klaus: "I would rather she know the truth than live a lie. I won't let her be caught in the crossfire of our family's chaos without understanding what she's getting into."

Finn nodded in agreement. "If she's going to be part of our lives, she needs to understand the dangers. It's not just about us anymore."

Rebekah: "Then I'll try my best to get to know if Dave is really a witch as we suspect . If he is, it would simplify a lot of things. We could use a witch on our side, especially if our father comes after us."

Finn: "And if he's not? We need to be prepared for all possibilities. We can't rely solely on others for our safety."

Klaus: "No, but having allies could make a significant difference. We need to gather as much information as we can."

Elijah: " But we have to be prepared to reveal about us to them especially Celene .If we hope to keep them close ."

As they continued to strategize, the atmosphere shifted from tension to resolve. They knew the dangers that lay ahead, but they also understood the strength of their bond.

We may be immortals, but we are not invincible. Yet, in this moment, I feel a flicker of hope. Perhaps we can carve out a future . If we stand united ALWAYS AND FOREVER.
