One Year Later

Maybe the previous one was bad because it was my first time?' he thought as he began to remodel his seal mark once again and this time too, the quality improved. The improvement wasn't as significant as last time, but it was still better than the second mark.

The first mark took almost 16 hours to make, the second one took 4 hours and his most recent seal mark only took him 3 hours.

He drew his seal mark on a chakra conductive paper and stuck it to one of his kunai before tossing it out the window. Once he heard it fall to the ground, he used the flying raijin.

He sensed his kunai in the direction where it was thrown at, and immediately, he teleported to where it was. This time, he didn't feel like puking, but it still took him around half a second to come to his senses.

The sudden change in his surroundings was something he wasn't used to. He tried using it a few more times, hoping that it would help him get used to the feeling of teleporting but unfortunately for him, it didn't happen.

Everytime he used his flying raijin, the feeling he felt was the same every single time.

'Welp, I guess this is the limit for now. I'll have to wait for my clones to be done with their task of helping people from multiple villages. Once they're done with their work, I'll get an extra character point.'

Since there wasn't much to do anymore, he brought out all the kikaichu that were in his body. When all of his kikaichu clumped up into a ball, they were the size of a basketball.

To get these many kikaichu, he had only used 2% of his total chakra. The Aburame clansmen passively fed their chakra to their kikaichu from the time the bugs were put into their bodies and this mostly happened when they were mere infants.

Due to him using only 2% of his chakra for his bugs, he could essentially use the other 98% for other things. The reason he kept it at 2% was because he simply didn't like having too many bugs in his body and the second reason was to keep his chakra levels a secret from others.

When it came to the Aburame clan members, the way they measured chakra levels was through the number of bugs the members could cultivate and control so having less bugs was a perfect cover up.

He had created a total of 4 wood clones until now and this meant that he currently only had 20% of his maximum chakra. He could deactivate his shadow clone jutsu any time and get back to 20% total, but when he used his five shadow clones to fight each other, his main body would only have over 3.3% of his total chakra.

And out of this 3.3% chakra, 2% was basically in the form of his bugs. For fights against proper ninjas, using 5 clones was a bad idea as it left Kira with almost no chakra to use.

So in realistic situations, it would be better to use one or a maximum of two clones. As for why he used 5 clones for training, it was simply because he was training and if he wanted to practice high level jutsu, he would have to decrease the number of clones to 1 or 2 again as they wouldn't have enough chakra to use those jutsus if he created 5 clones.

'I'm only 6 years old right now, so even though my chakra capacity is at SS grade, it hasn't reached it's full potential.' he thought as he recalled how chakra worked.

Chakra was basically the mixture of spiritual energy and physical energy. Kira was only 6 years old, and this meant that his physical energy was very low. Of course, as he aged and his body grew, his chakra would passively increase.

But his physical energy's growth could be boosted by his physique quality stat, which was currently at D grade. Once Kira reaches the ripe age of 16 and upgrades both his physique quality and Chakra Quantity to SSS grade, his total chakra quantity would be incredibly high.

As for how high it could reach, Kira didn't know.

'I'm looking forward to how great my chakra reserves would become though. But for that, I'll have to farm more character points.' he thought as he glanced at his clones fighting each other outside.

"Well, the amount of chakra doesn't matter when they're training in taijutsu." he muttered as he shifted his attention to another jutsu that he planned on creating.

Yes, creating.

He immediately moulded his chakra and transformed it into water release before he tried to compress this water at his finger tips. It did compress like he intended it to, but when he shot it outside his window, the outcome was not what he wanted.

'I don't want bullets. I want them to have the shape of sharp needles, or should I call them senbon....' he thought as he tried the jutsu one more time, trying to compress the water at his finger tips even more than before.

*********

Exactly one year later, Kira sat in his room with a smile on his face. He had received one point for reaching 3rd year in the academy and another one for graduating right after.

Once he was appointed as a genin, he received another point and other than these, he only got one more for reaching the age of 7. His physique went up by a whole grade, from D to C grade.

He invested 2 of his newly acquired character points into chakra control so that it'd be easier to make the seal marks for his flying raijin more efficiently, bring his chakra control from S to SSS grade.

This increase his potential chakra control from 90 to 100%, but his actual control after one year of unfocused training, was a bit more than 80%.

As for the other 2 character points, he decided to save them for later.
