In the grand halls of the palace, morning light seeped through tall windows, casting a soft glow over everything it touched. The air was still, until Haeun's voice rang out, breaking the silence.

"Yeongsoo!" Haeun's tone held a hint of mischief, as if he'd already thought of something daring and was summoning his favorite partner in crime.

Yeongsoo appeared at the doorway soon after, bowing with practiced grace. "Your Majesty," he greeted softly, stepping inside, his expression calm but alert. His pretty face making Haeun's breath hitch.

Haeun looked over his shoulder at him, a sly smile playing on his lips. "Come closer, Yeongsoo," he drawled, his voice unusually low. "I've been waiting."

A slight blush rose on Yeongsoo's cheeks, though he kept his composure as he approached the king. "Is there something you need, Your Majesty?"
