Chapter one

In the world of Elyria, with diverse landscape, sprawling forest, towering mountain ranges and deep oceans. Filled with many empires with peace hanging in delicate balance. In far right of the world is the Vorgathian empire, flanked to the east of the empire was the Darkhelm forest, a dark forest occupying thousands of miles and impassable to most, In the southern border by Syndari republic.

In the northern part of the empire was Brendia earldom covered with vales of lush forest and waterlogged terrain making it good for agriculture. Located in the suburbs of the earldom was Greenhaven village where most residents are farmers and hunters.

In the fields of greenhaven bordering the dangerous shadowfell forest was a modest shack covered with wooden walls and enchanted doors.inhabiting this cabin was a man Arin, his wife Laura and their son, Dean. Arin, was a man of medium build, raven black hair and warm brown hair with delicate features. Laura was a woman of exceptional beauty with long blonde hair and sapphire blue eyes.

Dean,their son inherited both parents good looks with black hair and blue eyes reminding you of his mother's with sharp jawbone giving him a playful look.they were meditating quietly in courtyard in front of topaz obelisk that increased the density of magic energy 'mana' in the environment.After meditating for an hour,Arin rose up into the cold storage to bring out their hunted game while Dean went to make fire for preparing their breakfast.

After the breakfast of roasted steak and dry bread, Dean went into his cabin to get his hunting gear.

"My dear,are you going hunting with your father today?" Laura asked.

"Yes mom,we are hunting the tarien bear today." Dean replied.

"What, that dangerous creature?" Laura exclaimed.Tarien bear is a breed of bear with crimson fur,razor sharp claws,fire magic and formidable in close-combat.

"Don't worry about it mum, dad is looking out for me and I will be alright." Dean said.

"I will look out for him my love, he won't be on his own." Arin added.

"Okay, be back home early for dinner." Laura reminded.

"We will be back after sunset." Arin replied.

Arin and Dean then went to the front door, Arin deactivated the enchantment on the door and went outside after waving goodbye to Laura.

Arin and Dean then trodded the rough forest terrain looking for tracks of their prey amid calls and roars of other beast inhabiting the Darkmire forest.

After a futile search, the two then walked to a nearby lake occupied by dangerous nymphs. reaching the bank,they proceeded to drink water and fill their empty water satchel. As Dean was drinking water from the lake, a head rose from the water in front of him startling Dean as he studied the creature. It was a beautiful looking naked woman but Dean could see her sharp elongated canines as she studied him also.

"Let's leave, we roused them." Arin suggested. After leaving the lake, they scanned the surrounding forest for any traces of their prey. After wandering around the forest for some time, they came across their prey who was feasting on his kill.

"Here is what we have been looking for." Dean said.

"Go climb that tree for a vintage point." Arin suggested.
