Zachariah's Point Of View
I was in complete disbelief. I couldn't fathom what was going through Chastaine's head right now. The evil glint in her eyes was sickening. I wanted, no needed to help Tristan and his mates anyway I could, but I had no clue what to do.
I looked over at Naithynn lying sprawled out on the ground, battered and bruised. If we made it out of this, there was a real chance that he wouldn't survive Ferdinand's wrath. And if I was being honest, I didn't really feel inclined to say anything in his defense.
"Mmm... you really do smell so enticing. It's almost disgusting... but I can't lie... it does drive me to have you, and even sire your children... will you cooperate?" Chastaine said.
"No! Stay the hell away from me!" Tristan yelled, as he flailed about.
