"Uhm... Ahem... Rohlander, was it?" I asked hesitantly.

We hadn't met under the best circumstances, but I had a terrible gnawing feeling in my gut and I couldn't ignore it anymore.

"Uh, yes Ma'am...? What's wrong? Is everything... okay?" He asked, tensing up with nervousness.

"Do you by chance know who was behind this latest attack?" I asked.

"Hmm...? I'm not 100% sure, but I think they said it was Danhiel and the director from the Lore'rahlye facility. Why...?" He asked.

I clutched my stomach. It was just as I feared... There were plans being put into motion that no one would be prepared for.

"Do you know if they have already started the counterattack on the facility to rescue the kids?" I asked in a panic.

"I'm not sure. You should probably ask Raihne. Last I heard, he was in the library." He replied.

"Thank you. I will go now." I said.
