Sebastian rubbed his forehead, frustration and worry imprinted on his face as he gazed at Grace lying on the bed. "I'm sorry," he pleaded, holding her hands, "I'm so sorry." He repeated, his voice cracking with emotion.
A soft moan escaped Grace's lips as she slowly came to. "Sebastian..." Her voice trailed off, and her eyes fluttered open, locking onto Sebastian's.
She tried to sit up, but a sharp pain shot through her, sending her back onto the pillow. "Ahh." She winced, biting her lip.
Sebastian's face contorted with concern. "Just lie down," he said gently, laying her back. "I'm so glad you're okay." He sighed, relief washing over him.
Grace smiled weakly, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Next time, check your car before telling me to get in." She teased, squeezing his hand.
Sebastian chuckled faintly, feeling a mix of guilt and gratitude. "I'm so sorry," he whispered, kissing the back of her hand.
