I opened my eyes and found the room to be dimly lit.

A figure was sitting beside me in silence; the shadow cast by his masculine figure surrounded me, and I couldn't see his expression.

“Max?” I called out his name in surprise and wanted to reach for him, only to realize that my limbs were chained to the bed.

I couldn’t move and looked at Max in panic.

What... What was happening?

Why did he chain me?

He caressed my neck; his expression was crazy and possessive, and I heard him say in a low voice, “Arra, don't leave me. I won't allow you to leave me. You can only be by my side...”

I struggled against the chains, trying to free myself.
