I went back to the Red Claw Pack and felt a mixture of emotions.

I could see that Charlotte wasn't as disgusted with me anymore, which made me happy. But she didn't want to accept my apologies either.

I should’ve told her during our marriage that everything I did for Sofia was not because of my own will, but it was too late now.

All I could do was to keep showing her how sincere I was, how I wanted her back with me.

“Brother!” Milla suddenly ran toward me.

“I heard... I heard that you are going to report Sofia to the werewolf council,” she panted.

News sure traveled fast.

I nodded nonchalantly in reply.

“But why? She didn't do anything wrong,” she complained.

“Didn’t do anything wrong? Cooperating with the rogues is not considered as wrong?” I glared at her. “She asked those rogues to rape and kill Charlotte!”
