Her Choice

"Is he still sleeping?" Bella asked, walking toward the room and peeking inside.

"Ah… I was really worried earlier." She sighed, closing the door quietly, then turned back to Anastasia. "You know what, as you expected, he's really here."

"Of course he is," Anastasia replied, gently rocking Lily, who was starting to doze off. "His company's been trying to secure a collaboration with this hotel for their upcoming season's collection."

Bella took a seat, a curious look in her eyes. "How did you know that?"

Anastasia smiled, brushing a strand of hair from Lily's forehead. "Diya tells me just about everything, even when I don't ask."

Bella chuckled. "She's always been a talker."

Anastasia's smile grew fonder as she continued, "To be honest, though, he's the kind of person who's constantly working. Their father's pushing him to make connections with 2WO, so he's got to make an impression and be present at every event they host."
