Embarrassing

Miles's clearance fell towards Aesop who was quick to nod the ball towards Cai. Aesop and Cai were the only ones in front and they could only be the ones to start the counter attack. But their numbers were unmatched, they were faced with three defenders from Heroes fc.

Cai controlled the ball towards the flanks and he controlled it just on the touchline. Derek stuck his leg towards the ball but Cai pulled the ball back. Derek was a bit thankful for this as he quickly found a way to block Cai from moving further.

Cai had a grin on his face as he glided his leg across the ball and placed his leg in front of the ball, blocking the ball away from Derek's view, as fast as lightning, Cai flicked the ball upwards, catching Derek off guard.

Derek was marking Cai very tightly, and he was obviously not looking up, so he didn't see the ball moving upwards.

Derek peered at Cai's leg again and he didn't see the ball.

Huh? the ball disappeared?

Derek was wide eyed as he watched Cai perform his intricate skills, Cai smiled mischevously. No, the ball is behind you.

Cai sped off with a mad acceleration, with just two steps, he had reached his max speed. Everything happened slowly in the eyes of Derek, then suddenly, things picked up speed and Cai had zoomed off, racing down the box at a hgh speed.

Cairo Ellis had come out a bit, and was shouting on the defenders to push Cai out of the box, he wanted the defenders to push him into an area that was too weak for him so Cai could shoot from there, but it wasn't so.

Cai used a Ronaldo chop to get behind the defender who had approached him, then he chipped the ball upwards for Aesop who made a beautiful run. Aesop ran behind everyone, even the goalkeeper, and he easily nodded the ball into the empty post.

Gooooallllll!!!!!!

It was only twenty five minutes on the clock and Heroes Fc was already down by two goals. This was becoming embarrassing for them, how could you fight your way into the quarter finals only to be losing two-zero in the first half? They had to do something about this, quickly.

Cai smiled happily. Satisfied with his exotic play. It was exactly the kind of thing that he wanted to do.

That was a great assist, I didn't know Krystal Fc had a superb winger like you, what's your name?

Cai looked up to see the blonde haired boy talking to him. He smiled brightly, flashing a very happy demeanor. Heh, I'm pretty awesome, aren't I?

Omar nodded. Sure, you are. The best actually. I wonder how we'll stop you in this game.

Cai laughed. Don't try too hard, the name's Cai!

The kickoff began again. Krystal Fc had charged in to begin another ravenous attack, but two of the main people that pushed their attack had already been infected, and it was only a matter of time before the dark physics manifested.

Krystal Fc easily won the possession and began driving in swiftly, they were all eager to decimate their opponents.

Eric controlled the ball and used a fake pass to beat a player, he sighted Mark, but he didn't really have the space to make the pass, so he passed the ball to Adrienne who was closer to him, trusting Adrienne to have a clearer view and make a better play.

From Adrienne's position, a straight on pass seemed to be the most plausible thing for him to do, but Adrienne was full of surprises.

Adrienne used his heel to give a pass the ball towards Miles...

But instead...

Wahhh!! He stole it!?

Omar stretched his leg and intercepted the pass. Adrienne was stunned, how did he know what I planned on doing!? If he knows my actions and reacts right before I do them, then my grid is useless!!

Omar stole the ball but he couldn't control it properly and Cai ended up snatching the loose ball.

I'll take that, thanks a lot.

Omar smiled. No problem. Inwardly, he was smiling too. Analysis, complete. He will kick the ball forward and attempt to beat me with his speed.

Cai pushed the ball forward and went on full throttle, but just as he zoomed forward, he noticed that he was no longer with the ball.
