A golden portal opened and closed instantly to reveal a six-foot-nine goddess with popular Egyptian braids, a dark evening dress and lots of gold adornment.

Draco and Fred were astonished to find such a beauty appear before them in deep space.

'Is that, Cynthia?' Draco thought as his mouth hung open a little, his eyes expressing shock and disbelief, yet his hands cautiously as if trying to touch something delicate.

The goddess appeared not far but above them causing the duo to lift their heads to see.

Golden brown aura seeped from her and covered the space around them creating a place to talk without affecting their surroundings.

"YOU!" The goddess said with a tone of anger as her eyes shone golden. She was clearly expressing her anger towards Fred which surprised him.

Fred began to flip through his memories to remember such a character from DC comics but the goddess spared him time as she introduced herself.

"I am Cynthia, goddess and Daughter of Abigail, a grey draconic human and Horus, the Sky god!" Cynthia declared her title and introduced herself and her family causing a surprised look on Fred's face and Draco to narrow his eyes in self-pity.

"Uncle, why am I not surprised?" Cynthia asked giving Draco a smug look.

"Draco?" Fred asked as surprises kept coming.

"Draco? Is that what you go by now? A great thief who would even involve his own sister in a ploy just to get what he wants. Luckily my father already liked her and the feeling was mutual for my mother even though you tried to set them up only to steal from my father. I don't want to see you, but I am not here for you." Cynthia said as she conjured a throne had looked like the letter 'U' but wider.

"I don't know what my father got into or what scared him so much as to do what he did. But he was forced to marry me off in an arranged marriage to you! YOU!" Cynthia let known her frustration to Fred who was caught off guard and wasn't expecting this twist, not after knowing he might be too powerful to even enjoy his stay at most worlds. He was engaged?

….Status Alert!

A successful marriage with Cynthia will boost your divine core up to two hundred and fifty per cent! It will complete your divine core assimilation a bit and make you fully ascend into godhood!

Mission activated!

Do whatever it takes to marry Cynthia, if she proves stubborn after you have done everything you could without unnecessary aggression and any type of force or external manipulation or refuses marriage or otherwise, there won't be consequences and you won't be sent back to your home world….

"WHAT?" Fred couldn't help but express his thoughts out loud to both Cynthia's claims and his system's.

….Rewards for a successful mission include godhood, Cynthia, control over your fate to return to your home world or worlds visited at your leisure and divine gold and materials….

"Lord Osiris informed me of your status when Father gave his decree, he told me you were in hell! With his permission, I watched you a few times and was disgusted with your barbaric acts in hell. You could have allied yourself with the vampire lords even though I dislike them and avoid being captured and humiliated all the time by the mage King's disciples. No husband of mine can be that pathetic! I don't even know how you got your powers, you are clearly not a chaos being…" Cynthia continued to rant but her voice blurred out as Fred stared into space.

Fred only let himself get captured by the mage King's disciples just to learn divine magic to increase his divine core assimilation as that was one of the side missions given by his system he found easier to do.

As side from that, he wondered how he was going to go about this. This lady could disappear from his presence and appear at will anytime. One can assume she wouldn't be willing to hang out with Fred, much less go on dates with him if he asked with the way she saw him.

"Wait! Are you the voice that spoke to me one time back then… it sounds awfully familiar… for someone who doesn't give a rat's ass about me." Fred tried to calm things down as he remembered a voice talking to him once before.

Draco only observed the two of them and didn't say anything. He only looked at Cynthia and could see some of his sister in her and wondered how his little sister fared now. Oh, if only he could talk to her and let her know something he would love to tell her. But now he was nothing but a soul, his body lost in a deal that went wrong. That's one of the reasons he desperately needs to get his body back or create a vessel strong enough to hold him.

"You cannot enter low-level worlds like this. Have you no control over your power? How barbaric indeed!" Ignoring Fred's statement, Cynthia created ten black rings that floated above her palm and sent them to Fred.

"Consider this our parting gift! I don't know what my father did or what powerful entity he owes that made him do this but I won't let myself get married to you!" Cynthia firmly added as the golden aura that filled the place began to retract slowly towards her.

"But… if your father made this a decree. I am afraid you cannot go against it, as you would be denying your source of origin, your divinity itself. You are still bound to his wishes and cannot act as freely as you want. Only marriage or divine intervention will grant you immunity to his decree, granting you complete liberty to divine resolution at your disposal." Draco added with a lowered head, for some reason he couldn't tell it to Cynthia's face.

"Did I give you permission to talk, old man?" Cynthia asked with anger brewing inside her.

"Hey, that's no way to talk to your elders!" Fred added hoping his casualness would deescalate things here. Learning about Draco being related to Cynthia made him wonder if bringing Draco along was also already divined.

"Those rings I gave you… think of them as weights or regulators for your powers till you learn to control them better. Right now you are no worse than… him in controlling your powers as you both are challengers and fresh out of hell. You are used to always being at full strength less you suffer defeat which could cost you more than your life. Until then, learn how to control yourself…" Cynthia said as her figure began dissipating until deep space was all Draco and Fred could see.

"That… girl. She didn't make yours?" Fred turned to Draco to find him slouched and almost unresponsive.

"C'mon don't let the past haunt you, my man."
