When James heard the notifications from the system, his first reaction was quite nervous, unsure if he could kill it since the beast's realm was higher than his own.

However, after having thoughts that he possessed 20% of the strength of a peak rank 2 beast, his nervousness vanished in an instant.

Even if he didn't know the exact power he currently has, he was sure that at least 20% of the strength of peak rank 2 was equivalent to Mid Rank 2 or even better.

Determined not to repeat the mistakes from his previous encounter with the boar that he had killed, James walked stealthily and silently toward the beast, hoping it wouldn't notice him.

He was taken aback when he saw the beast 25 meters ahead because the beast looked exactly the same as the wild boar that he killed before, though the size was different because this beast was definitely way bigger than the previous one.

This big wild boar was approximately 3,5 meters in size, and the tusks were as big as around 1,2 meters, each looking fearsome. 

James was sure that this beast was surely related to the beast that he killed before because the beast was lying beside the corpse that he left behind.

Out of curiosity, he looked at the beast's information first before deciding to attack it.

After looking at the wild boar's information and finding that there was nothing special about it, James was ready to use his Fire Sword Skill to attack it.

He unsheathed his sword slowly and walked slowly again to shorten the distance between them.

After the distance between them was around 10 meters and feeling that the distance was close enough, he decided to use his second most powerful skill.

James raised the sword with both hands and used the Fire Sword Skill.

James felt the temperature of the surroundings rising as the sword was covered in flames. He immediately swung his sword as hard as he could.

The crescent moon-shaped sword qi, which was covered in flames, flew out of the blade and moved towards the wild boar so fast that it surprised him.

The wild boar suddenly opened its eyes, surprised. Unfortunately, with no time to react, the sword Qi had already penetrated the boar's body into two and proceeded directly to the tree behind it, splitting it into two while burning the slashed parts.

The boar's body split into two, and the blood evaporated as the flames burned the body and even the blood that was spilled over from it.

Looking at the corpse, James felt both satisfied and helpless at the same time.

He was satisfied because his strength was far stronger than he had anticipated.

However, he felt powerless since around 20% of its body had been burned to a crisp as a result of the skill. 

At this rate, if he used the Fire Vortex which had more power than the sword skill, at least a large portion of the body would be reduced to ashes.

At the same time, James also felt quite exhausted from using all of his Qi in his skill previously. 

Although he wasn't physically exhausted, the feeling was extremely unpleasant, so he ordered Little Fluffy to use the system points to replenish his Qi.

James was happy when he heard the system's notification. 

At this rate, it shouldn't take long before he could upgrade his realm to Peak Rank 2 and Little Snow to Peak Rank 3, partly because his realm was still too low and the amount of experience he needed was still a little.

"Hmmph, feeling happy after killing a mere rank 2 beast. Even a teenager with a bit of background could do it too, let alone crushing you with just a punch." 

Little Fluffy snorted, seeing that James was happy just like that and discouraging him by reminding him of the reality.

"Shut your stinky mouth, I just started on the road of cultivation. Given a little bit of time, I will definitely beat the shit out of them and it shouldn't even be hard for me to become the strongest in this world if you give me some time." James said confidently.

"On the road of cultivation my ass, you are just cheating using the system yet so full of yourself. Hmmph...." Little Fluffy just couldn't stand it anymore and said whatever was on his mind.

Isn't it just probably a few forces that have a few individuals with the strongest power in this world? It's nothing impressive in my eyes, and I could definitely surpass them given enough time." 

James finally got a little bit of a clue from Little Fluffy's mouth that the tenth rank that he said a while ago was like an ant in the eyes of the strongest in this world and decided to taunt Little Fluffy further.

"Hmmph, you little bumpkin. You know shit about this world. This world is...." Before Little Fluffy could say further, he was interrupted by the system's notification.
