Homeward Bound

Vi'tda scoffed at me like I was the scum of the universe. "So, what you are telling me is that you have no idea where your home planet is located?" he sneered, looking over his shoulder at his new lackey.

"So, what you are telling me is that you have never heard of it either," I replied with a smirk of my own.

"I know every planet and galaxy in the known universe," shot back the princeling like I should be impressed with that fact.

"But you don't know mine," I reminded him, spinning my egg chair back and forth.

"I think I have found a galaxy like yours," grunted Ba'dqeel, and there was a brief stabbing pain in my heart over the idea that he was helping me go home. If I was his mate, shouldn't he do everything in his power to keep me beside him?
