The man looked towards the other table.
In Volantis things were getting worse and worse, but the leader of the elephants and the leader of the tigers were upset at their failure to enter Valyria.
They had not sent large armies, but small raids, those who returned found nothing new, and those who did not were lost in the smoking sea.
The new arrivals, from the houses lost in the Meeren war, speak with the leader of the elephants, seeking alliances.
In recent months, both nobles from Yunkai and Asaptor had come for the same thing, to seek an alliance with the elephants and tigers of Volantis to eliminate the aforementioned king of Valyria.
Robb's father-in-law listened attentively as he pretended to enjoy his lunch.
"Why take the risk? " he heard another master.
"Perhaps your mercenaries have had luck in Valyria," said one of the masters.
The leader of the elephants looked at him with an annoyed huff.
"You can have Valyria if you catch the king? "said another master.
"King of Valyria, do you believe it?" asked the leader of the elephants.
"As much as you, or at least I think so...But why send so many mercenaries to the smoking sea" said the master.
The elephant leader shrugged.
"There are other mercenaries...I only confirm the rumors" he said.
"Seriously, your help will be essential...But not doing so would harm you" one clarified.
The elephant lord raised an eyebrow.
"A threat?" he asked.
The master waved his hand in the air, dismissing it.
"Not mine, of course... But three of the slave cities have fallen... Volantis has at least five slaves per person, how long do you think it will take the king of Valyria to get here," he said.
The elephant lord laughed.
"My walls are not like that of your tiny Meeren, the black and red fence made by the dragon lords, it does not burn, it does not rust, it does not break," he said.
The former master of Meeren huffed.
"Even so there are the Tigers," he said.
The lord of the elephants looked annoyed at the mention of the other rival family to his.
"The tigers have declined," he said.
"Exactly, what better time to seek an alliance with the king of Valyria, than now that they are weak" one clarified.
The lord of the elephants frowned.
"I see, if that makes sense... I have already sent help, inform Viserys Targaryen where his sister is, and he will go to his brother-in-law Khal Drogo to recover her," he said.
"Khal Drogo? The Dothraki with forty thousand men? " one of them muttered.
He nodded.
"Yes, apparently his sister ran away a long time ago, they have been looking for her since then," said the leader of the elephants.
"Will the Dothraki destroy the city? "asked one.
"What does it matter, there are always too many slaves, and your pyramids, well you already lost them," he said.
One of the masters sighed.
"What about the mercenaries?" he asked.
"The gold company is willing to negotiate, I will give them to you for a good price," he said.
Behind them, a couple of tables, Talisa's father left the place.
"I hope Arya is safe, their investigation should have ended in Yunkai," the worried man thought.

Talisa sighed as she tried to heal Theon.
His injuries were too serious, her magic was not enough.
Robb watched the entire process from a couple of meters away.
He didn't take his eyes off Theon Greyjoy.
The situation was very bad for the king of the north.
Theon was a traitor.
He attacked the north.
He attacked Winterfell
Kidnapping his brothers.
He knew he didn't burn them, not with Rikkon there.
He burned other children.
Likewise, this should be punished by law.
On the other hand.
He was his closest friend.
He is also someone he considered a brother in all but blood.
And the torture he received.
They were inhuman.
He didn't even want to imagine what they did to him.
His personality changed.
His name was Reek, and he was a servant.
Or it would be better to call him a slave.
That personality protected what little sanity he had left.
Even so, there are moments when Theon regains lucidity.
Like when he rescued Sansa's best friend from the clutches of her supposed husband.
Like coming here, instead of taking her to the ironborn.
Robb sighed and watched his wife address him.
"I'll keep trying later, my mana is at its limit," she said.
Robb nodded.
The woman left the place.
But the boy kept his gaze on the prisoner.
Kill him or not.
He had every right to do so.
It was the right thing to do.
But on the other hand.
Jeyne is alive because of him.
Robb has information on the Boltons thanks to that.
Theon had been castrated, tortured and who knows what else.
Theon paid the price for betrayal.
But equally, his desire shuffled between forgiving him and beheading him.
"Robb?" the boy heard.
Reek stopped shaking on the ground, and Theon returned once more.
The king of the North remained silent for a few moments.
"Why?" he asked after that.
A moment of silence passed.
"My father asked me," Theon replied.
"I know, but why?" Robb asked again.
"I don't know... Maybe I just wanted to be his son," Theon muttered.
"You were my brother Theon...You were Eddard Stark's son, you knew that" he said.
Theon raised his head.
"Son? I was a prisoner Robb, they would have killed me if my father didn't behave. "he said.
"You know it wasn't like that, you know we loved you," he said.
Theon nodded.
"Yes, but if King Robert ordered it, he would have beheaded me, that's the truth," he said.
Robb looked at him.
"Perhaps he wouldn't have done the same with you, with Jon...Robb loved you, and your father, that's true. But I was a prisoner," he said.
"I was going to reward you, I was going to make you a gentleman," he admitted.
Theon looked at him.
"I wanted my father to love me, Robb. I wanted to make him proud. I was wrong, I admit it... You don't understand, you would never do it... Robb, you are the king of the north, the son of a guardian, I was the prisoner of that guardian, loving me or not, it didn't change that fact, because I betrayed you, I don't know. Maybe I just wanted to show them that I could do it," Theon finished.
Robb got up ready to leave.
"Don't underestimate Ramsay," he heard.
"He's crazy, but he's not stupid," Theon whispered.
Talisa sighed tiredly.
She had checked on Theon for several hours and was exhausted.
She also treated Jeyne.
She slept for several hours, and as soon as she got up she went to visit Theon.
She healed him as best as she could before she went up to level 4, she had gone up to level 3 during her stay on the wall, healing wounds from Robb's allies. And now with the fourth level, she raised her White magic by one point, to 2.
Theon's injuries could not be fully recovered, but at least, he could be pain-free for a while.
[T/N: Pathetic...How dare you share magic with the Saint!]

Jon nodded as he looked at the box, in it were all kinds of gold rings, necklaces, and bracelets, with precious stones.
He even couldn't believe the mana consumption it took.
The summoning of jewelry at level 6 summoning was devastating, the boy could summon more than five elephants of immense size, but it took him even longer to recover his mana after the jewelry.
He remembered in the previous level that the same thing happened to him when summoning silver ingots. It seemed that the consumption of mana, in precious minerals, was much higher.
Just before being declared king he summoned some jewelry, and he summoned a sapphire, he didn't know if it was jewelry or a precious stone, but he gave it to Daario so that he could quickly find merchants who intended to buy it.
The boy sighed when he saw the jewelry, he planned to let Danny choose her wedding ring, but he could only summon a few, plus they were random. He currently had thirteen rings, seven bracelets, and three pearl necklaces.
The gold rings, four with a diamond, three with a sapphire, and the last six with an emerald embedded in them. The bracelets are three made of gold, with small precious stones placed in holes, and four of white gold with sapphires.
As if summoned, Danny arrived with Sansa and Arya.
"The dress is already here," said Arya.
Danny smiled.
"It's beautiful, a gift from the merchant that Daario gave the sapphire," Sansa said satisfied, and noticed Jon looking at a box on his table.
"What is that? "She asked curiously.
"Summoned Jewelry. I was preparing the ring," he said, somewhat tired.
Danny and Sansa smiled and headed to the table, unmanneredly pushing Jon away from it.
Arya seemed distracted, more focused on the birds around Meeren than the jewels on the table.
"Nobles like everything that shines," she muttered, bored.
"You are noble, or rather royalty," Jon clarified next to her.
Screams could be heard from Danny and Sansa who were examining the jewels, looking at them and examining them one by one.
Jon saw her smiling, but he looked exhausted.
"Is it that tiring?" she asked curiously.
"Each one costs the same as three elephants," Jon murmured.
Arya blinked.
"Are you kidding?" she asked.
He nodded.
Arya looked fearfully at the jewelry.
"This one!" Danny said.
Jon looked up to see her choice, a diamond ring.
"Typical," he whispered.
Danny turned.
"Did you say something?" She asked with a smile.
[T/N: BOOOO!]
Jon quickly denied.
"Coward," Arya murmured.
"I want this necklace," said Sansa.
Jon raised his face to see the pearl necklace.
"Are you getting married too?" Arya asked ironically.
"No...But Jon owes me several name-day gifts," she said.
Jon rolled his eyes at her.
"Do you want a bracelet?" he asked Arya.
"No way, give me a sword," she said.
Jon smiled.
"I suppose that after we fix things here, we will have to take you to Valyria, surely there is something similar to Needle," he said.
Arya smiled.
"Yes, I would like that"

Dacey watched the road carefully.
It took a few months to get what she wanted.
But the wait was worth it.
Her mother had been hesitant to provide the number of men she requested.
But Dacey and her younger sister Lyanna convinced her after a long time.
The big bear was loyal.
But they were in bad times.
Roose had already sent several threatening letters.
The fact that she has many northern houses in her pocket.
And that she had support from the South, she put the Mormont family in a bind.
Her soldiers are among the northern elite, of course.
But Bear Island could easily be invaded by water.
Ships were not the Mormonts' specialty.
Dacey sighed and turned to face her men.
She had chosen to ask several Stark loyalist houses, houses that had sent Robb Stark most of his soldiers, many falling at the Red Wedding.
Even so.
The bear achieved her goal and was now heading towards her king.
With enough soldiers to forgive the lost time.
300 Mormont soldiers.
200 Cassel soldiers.
200 Cerwyn soldiers.
50 Condon soldiers.
[T/N: heh]
150 Dustin soldiers.
200 Glover soldiers.
250 Locke soldiers.
250 Manderly soldiers.
100 Mollen soldiers.
100 Slate soldiers.
200 Woolfield soldiers.
Dacey brought with her around two thousand soldiers, her intention was not to go to the houses that had doubts about her loyalty, her first option was Puerto Blanco, talk to the lord of the Manderly, and he'd escort her and her men to negotiate. She also had good information about the Karstarks, Alys, the daughter of the Lord that Robb executed, was in Puerto Blanco, being friends with the granddaughters of Lord Manderly, and the girl was able to find out about their betrayal.
"Months passed, but now we can take Winterfell," she whispered.
The girl quickened the pace of her horse.
The Black Fish offered his men as well, but they were needed in the riverlands, at least until the Tully lord is rescued.
The girl shook her head, she was heading towards the wall hoping that Robb was still there. There were rumors that Winterfell was attacked, but she doubted that her king would be as foolish as attacking her ancestral home without enough men.
"I'm coming Robb. I'm coming"

"Meeren," said the beggar king.
"Yes, his majesty," said Jorah Mormont.
Viserys smiled.
"I finally found you," he whispered.
He turned to see the dragon eggs on the table.
"Inform the savage," he ordered.
Jorah left the tent.
Viserys laughed.
"Now Danny, you will be punished," he whispered.
