The Final Clash

The whole planet shook as the fight came to its explosive climax, Aerion stood proudly, straight backed as fire roiled and cracked around him.

His almost white hair was blowing around in the currents of his fire angelically while his yellow eyes focused on the dragon opposite him.

Red lightning ran down every scale of the majestic creature, the sky above was a large cyclone of dark grey storm clouds that poured lightning onto the ground below.

The air was thick with tension and anticipation. flashes of bright red bolts of lightning lit up the night sky above as the two beings of tremendous power met eyes once more.

Each lightning strike that hit the floor created a loud resounding boom that shook the ground, but they had both gotten used to the sound over the last straight week of fighting.

Quickly all of the flames he had produced over the course of the fight whirled and got sucked into a dark red sphere of divine power hovering above Aerions palm.

Whereas Lansseax flew up to the roiling clouds above and started to absorb the power in the clouds, flashes of lightning illuminated the large hovering silhouette of the she-dragon.

The air felt heavy as the cracks of lightning smashed into the ground below and the roar of the flames and the way the flame violently beat like a heart in Aerions palm seemed to blank out any other sound in the world.

Lansseax roared, the roar was louder than ever before as the ground shook in seeming anticipation of this final clash of the two mighty beings of war.

The air around Aerion started to crack and look as if it was melting, his now golden eyes studied the form of the dragon with intensity.

The dark red ball of fire seemed to drop into his palm as every vein in his body lit up with a dark red glow.

The condensed fire roiled through his body devastatingly as he stoked the flames with every part of his body and energy.

Lansseax previously golden eyes glowed a frightful red as with one flap of her wings she dissipated the large cloud surrounding her revealing her form in its full glory to the world.

Aerion met eyes with the creature both of them covered in blood head to toe were now ready for the end of the fight.

He took one slow step forward and felt as flame spilled from his body and trailed the movement of his limbs as his spear conjured in his right hand and he pointed it towards the dragon.

Every ounce of fire and energy was absorbed by the spear as it glowed a blood red.

Lansseaxs maw of sharp teeth filled with the lightning she had collected from the source itself. The lightning screeched as it was moulded unwillingly under her command.

Lansseaxs voice was thunder itself as she screeched "ODINSON!" the name of her opponent.

Flames licked at Aerions lips "Come, Lansseax" he hissed like a serpent, his very voice summoned even more flame that wrapped around his barely clothed form like a cloak.

Lansseax roared as she suddenly dived faster than the eye could see towards the Flame God. The sound barrier cracked with a boom and a shockwave that was ignored by the two participants.

Lansseax roared, revealing her open maw filled to the brim with rotating multi-colored lightning that scorched the air before beginning to transform.

The lightning suddenly compressed and wrapped together, it looked like plasma beam as it flew from the dragon's mouth towards the teenager.

The beam of lightning emitted such a high frequency sound that it could not even be heard by Aerion.

Both of Aerions hands wrapped around the spear as with every muscle in his body tensed bracing himself as the ground underneath him cracked.

Space seemed to bend and warp around the tip of the Gods spear as he swung it towards the quickly approaching plasma.

As the spear swung down towards the plasma Aerion masterfully released every ounce of fire he had stored and compressed in the spear.

The fire came out in the form of a divine serpent that met the beam of plasma head on.

There was a moment of silence as the attacks met.

That was broken by a bang the likes Aerion had never heard before, he watched wide eyed as the fabric of the universe ripped and tore away before repairing itself as a red shockwave released from the impact.

The shockwave released quicker than either Dragon or God could react and the two along with the dozens of rocky mountains surrounding them were torn from the ground and propelled dozens of miles in less than second as the two attacks suddenly exploded with a bright flash and then another sudden bang that instantly popped the eardrums of the God.

He slammed into a large rock with an earthshaking crash and gasped in pain as he dropped to all fours.

His ears bleeding and not working, his eyes all but useless from the blinding flash, every rib in his body more than certainly broken and dozens of sharp metal scraps and dragon scales turned into shrapnel implanted deep into his body.

And yet, he couldn't be happier.
