The Devil's Pawn

Inside was what looked like a large wooden hut

Loki walked around it, touching its oak wooden walls, contemplating its craftsmanship.

While on the other side of the hut, under the moonlight filtering through a window. There was a [child] who appeared to be no more than seven years old, deftly touching the keys of a piano

With every touch of [the child's] fingers he produced a musical painting

Loki's thinking was that he was unable to recognize a piece like this, despite his distinguished knowledge in the musical field and his listening to several pieces. But at the same time, it seemed as if he had heard the beauty of this artistic painting before

[Loki] went back to immersing himself in the pleasure of this feeling, abandoning his other thoughts

Moments later, the piano strings stopped playing

[Loki] was astonished at the interruption of his trance. He turned towards [the child] to find him sitting on the piano stool, repeating over and over again.

"Not yet. Not yet. Not yet. Not yet. Not yet..."

Causing Loki to wake up startled inside a room containing a kit

Pleased

"Huh huh huh huh..."

Loki was panting so hard that he woke up his sisters sleeping with him

"Dude, can't you be less loud?"

said [Chris], who was putting his pillow over his head and then continued his sleep

[Loki] looked at [Chris] and sighed, knowing that he was the one who was wrong because he was the one who woke him from his sleep

But he was a little upset with him, knowing that he was gone, but he preferred sleeping rather than saying goodbye

A little 5-year-old girl asked [Loki]

"Are you okay, Loki?"

[Loki] looked at that innocent girl with a warm smile as he patted her head

"Don't worry, Lilia, I'm fine, it was just a nightmare."

While [Loki] was smiling at his younger sister, his mind was about another matter, namely that [child] who seemed strange. Since he had never seen an entity like him, he could not even see his facial expressions, which led to him not recognizing him

While Loki was lost in his thoughts

A middle-aged woman entered the room and opened the door

"You seem to be awake, so you should hurry. [Mr. Harvey] called and said he would arrive in about two hours."

After Lady Diana said that, Loki remembered that he had a long journey ahead of him

Loki got up from his bed and headed towards the door, heading to the bathroom

After a short, refreshing bath, Loki came out of the bathroom, stroking his hair, saying

About an hour and a half later, the orphanage's doorbell rang

The little girl named [Lilia] quickly got up to the door carrying her doll

After [Lady Diana] said that, she noticed [Mr. Harvey] standing at the threshold of the door and there was a girl clinging to him.

After saying that, a handsome young man appeared with dark black hair and crimson eyes. He had an athletic and graceful body. He was wearing a classic black shirt and pants.

[Loki] was coming down a flight of stairs with his right hand in his pocket, which showed the young man's self-confidence

"So is it time to leave?"

After Loki said that, Harvey responded.

"It seems that you are ready, so say goodbye to everyone and let's go, because I don't know how long the trip will last."

"There is no need for that, everyone is asleep, so I don't want to wake them up."

Although Loki was a sociable person, in such situations he was indifferent to the feelings of others.

As he did not care about the feelings of others after they woke up and discovered that he had lied to them about the time of his departure

On the threshold of the sidewalk, next to an elegant black car, Loki was standing, looking at Lilia, who was waving her hand at him, and Lady Diana, who was looking at him with a look filled with sadness and concern.

"Are you sure you won't say goodbye to your brothers?"

After saying that, [Loki] waved his hand goodbye to [Lilia] and [Lady Diana] while putting a fake smile on his face.

After getting into the car and driving off, Loki sighed heavily

"I don't know how you can be so cold in a situation like this, you may never see them again."

After Harvey said that while holding the steering wheel, Loki responded.

"It's not that I don't want to, it's just that if I show my emotions, my mother might feel something. You never know how right her intuition can be."

After Loki finished saying this, he placed his hand on his cheek as he looked around the streets of Munich

"So do you have any additional information about this academy?"

After Loki said that, Harvey suddenly remembered

"I forgot, this is the basic information you need before you go there."

After Harvey presented Loki with an electronic pad containing some information about his destination

Although it contained little and useless information

Since the location of the academy was not even mentioned

But there was a good reason for that: its location was hidden to avoid any government interference

But what caught [Loki's] attention was the number of students

The total number of international students is 195

After reading this issue, [Loki] smiled terrifyingly, saying:

"Looks like there's a lot of fun there."

While [Loki] said that, [Harvey] was looking at him through the windshield of the car and saying to himself
