Deep Thoughts

The hour passed quickly and soon the bell rang.

Bob gave some homework to do for the next class but Alex wasn't really listening.

Alex was instead looking at Edward looking to see his reaction when he noticed Bella's smell.

Soon what he expected did indeed occur, as soon as Edward and Bella were only a few feet apart, Edwards's eyes lost their amber color almost immediately and his entire expression crunched up.

Alex decided that he wasn't going to risk it and eat popcorn so he took Bella's hand and quickly dragged her out of the classroom.

Turning his head back, he saw Edythe trying to comfort him? or at least talk Edward out of his own head.

"Why are you dragging me?" Bella asked, her voice clearly showing her frustration if her face wasn't already a clear enough indicator.

"Ah, I just didn't wanna get caught up in the crowd y'know?" Alex made an excuse as they arrived at the Parking lot outside the front of the school.

On the way, they met Jessica and Mike, who gave their goodbyes and went their own ways.

Opening the truck door, a shrill sound was heard.

'Just opening it sounds like a wooden door at one am, whilst you try to be as silent as possible' Alex thought back to his past of whoopings.

After getting inside and securing themselves, Bella fired up the old truck's engine and started to reverse out of the parking spot.

Alex looked out the window to see the students getting into their cars as they left the school, what caught his eye the most was a silver Volvo however.

'Edward has probably already noticed that he can't read my thoughts so why don't I mess with him a little' Alex thought as a mischievous grin enveloped his face.

Alex thought about how he would be able to unlock his thoughts and found out that all it took was thinking about unlocking them and he would feel a switch flip in his head.

'That's neat' Alex thought and then stared at the Volvo and the people who had now appeared next to it.

'Shitty ass Volvo, who in the hell would even get some trash like that? Some trash bastard im sure.' Alex thought and then quickly closed his mind.

Then he saw both Edwards and Edythe's heads turn in his direction.

Hostility could clearly be seen on their faces as they glared in his direction.

'I'm not sure if they're just concentrating to read more of my thoughts or if they wanna kill me' Alex thought to himself as he rubbed his chin.

Shaking his head, Alex thought.

'Nah, I'm an angel why would they hate me' whilst his grin spread even further on his face.

"Are you insane or something? Why are you grinning like that to yourself?" Bella asked

'Ah shit, I forgot you existed' Alex thought and quickly calmed his facial expression.

"I'm just trying to practice my facial expression, maybe I can be an actor if I practice long enough you know?" Alex said towards Bella as he gave her a closed-eyed smile.

"As if weirdo" She replied as they finally got out of the parking lot.

A while later they arrived at their house, they couldn't see Charlie's car so he was probably still at work.

"I'll be going to my room to do the homework," Bella said as she quickly climbed her stairs, only to stop at the last one and quickly add.

"Don't come and annoy me Alex" Bella screamed as she disappeared behind the walls.

a moment later Alex heard the slam of her door.

'Can she be more of a brat or has she already reached max level?' Alex thought as he stared at the stairs.

'Either way, I should check out my abilities tonight, just need to find a good spot so I can do it while hiding.' Alex thought as he slowly went up the stairs towards his room.

'I also need to make a plan for the future, it would be a massive waste if I didn't take advantage of the fact that I know the literal future of both the twilight world and the real world.' Alex thought as he sat down on his chair and rested his head on his fist.

'Especially the real world future, that would allow me to become a billionaire quite easily, and knowing that I have eternal life, I really don't wanna be poor through it.' Alex then turned on what looked like a super old computer.

'Time to figure out how this thing even works.' Alex thought as he stared at the PC screen expectantly.

The screen finally lit up after a long while and then crashed, leaving only a black monitor in its wake.

Alex just stood there with his eyes wide.

'Did this shit just make me wait five whole minutes just for it to crash?' Alex thought as he felt like punching a hole straight through it.

Taking a slow deep breath, and holding it in for a while Alex slowly exhaled while trying to calm his emotions.

'I have to stop getting so angry, losing my head over the smallest things has much higher consequences than when I was a human. I have to control myself if not for my sake then for the others around me' Alex thought as he finally felt himself in control of his emotions once again.

'It is weird though like I have an entire set of memories of this Alex Swan, Bella's brother and at times it feels like I really am him but sometimes like right now, it just feels like I stole someone's life away' Alex thought as he slid down on his chair, and looked at the ceiling. His eyes were in a daze as he was deep in thought.

'But the more and more I learn from his memories and look back at them, the more I notice our similarities. It's as if he's me, just a version of me that was born in a different place and time.' Alex heard a noise coming from downstairs as he got up from the chair.

'Must be Charlie' He thought.
