Rika heard a lot of people talking and pointed as she walked out of her mother's office and headed toward her section.
Unfazed by the chatter, Rika remained steadfast, knowing she was not in the wrong.
Besides, none of this gossip could hurt her, and she did not want to waste unnecessary energy countering these gossipers when there was much more she could do.
When she entered, no one in her section looked at Rika, and she had difficulty knowing what to do and where to sit.
She decided to take the nearest station and waited to be told what to do.
Rika strategically chose this station, aware that it was someone's favourite and they would ask her to move.
And just as Rika expected, the person who usually sat at this station walked up to Rika with an annoyed expression.
"Excuse me, but this is my station. Would you mind shifting to the one at the back? It would be a better place for someone like you."
