Ch 63: Drugged case

Caught in the limbo between anxiety and resignation, Rika had drifted into a restless sleep. But as she roused, a sudden awareness pierced through her grogginess, and she was not alone.

When she woke up, a familiar face was in front of her, and a familiar arm warped around her.

Rika could feel a taller body spooning her from behind as her eyes took in Emily's form in front of her.

"Huh? Did we have a sleepover? I don't remember anything that happened. Both Emily and Damian look to be asleep. Wait! Where even am I?"

Rika asked as her spinning head finally stopped, but she could concentrate on her surroundings.

First, she noticed the creamy white walls and the green bed blinds, which gave her a guess at where she was. 

But the natural nail in the coffin was the heart monitor beside her bed.
