Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist

"Lord Hokage, we have been waiting for you for a long time."

In the shadows, seven ninjas with distinct appearances emerged. Each one wielded a unique sword.

The leader was a tall, hefty man with long orange hair that almost reached the ground.

"Fuguki Suikazan... Did you kill the Mizukage?" Mei gritted her teeth as she recognized the Seven Ninja Swordsmen.

"We're just cleansing Kirigakure," Fuguki replied indifferently. "That old man was too cowardly, always seeking Konoha's approval. He didn't deserve to lead us."

Kushimaru Kuriarare snorted. "The village's shadow wants Konoha's opinion? He had no spine."

Jūzō Biwa and Jinpachi Munashi nodded in agreement. Raised under the Blood Mist policy, they despised the fifth Mizukage conciliatory behavior. So they took advantage of a mission report to decapitate him. Afterward, they waited in the Mizukage's office to ambush Terumi Mei.

"You traitors," Mei spat. "This is outright rebellion!"

"Of course not," Fuguki countered. "Once we eliminate you, Kirigakure will return to its independent era under our leadership. The Seven Ninja Swordsmen's reputation will spread throughout the ninja world."

Fuguki's Samehada extended sharp spikes. "I wanted to deal with you alone, but it looks like Konoha's Hokage followed you. Perfect timing. Let's see how powerful Senju Takuya truly is."

Jinpachi sneered. "I'll blow him to pieces with the Shibuki."

Kushimaru grinned, pointing his Nuibari at Takuya. "I'll stitch his body back together after cutting him up."

Ameyuri Ringo shook his Kabutowari. "I want to test Susanoo's defense."

Loquat Jūzō and Raiga Kurosuki remained silent but eager.

"Husband, what should we do?" Mei asked Takuya, worried.

"Don't worry," Takuya said calmly. "I told you, I'll kill anyone who opposes me."

To him, the Seven Ninja Swordsmen were merely a group of ants.

"Limbo: Border Jail!"

With Takuya's command, four shadows invisible to others appeared and swiftly decapitated Jinpachi, Kushimaru, Jūzō, and Raiga.

"What?!" Fuguki and the others were stunned. Four of their comrades were dead before they even realized it.

"Damn it!" Ameyuri roared and charged at Takuya with Kabutowari.

Boom!

His blade struck a skeletal armor surrounding Takuya.

Susanoo!

Instead of fear, a cruel smile appeared on Ameyuri's face. "Break it!"

He hammered the back of his blade, but his strike had no effect. The dark skeleton remained unscathed.

A skeletal arm from Susanoo extended and grabbed Ameyuri's neck, lifting him off the ground.

"How... can this be?" Ameyuri gasped. His attack was useless.

Crack!

Takuya twisted Ameyuri's neck, killing him instantly. "You dare claim to defeat all defenses?"

In moments, five of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen were dead.

"Only you two remain," Takuya said, turning to Fuguki and his last companion.

"Attack together!" Fuguki shouted.

The swordsman with the Hiramekarei launched himself at Takuya but was bisected mid-air by a shadow from Takuya's jutsu.

Seeing this, Fuguki fled, realizing they stood no chance against Takuya. "Damn it! He's too strong."

Fuguki knew he'd have to live in hiding. Seeking revenge was out of the question.

As he fled, he saw Takuya raise his hand. "Shinra Tensei!"

"No!" Fuguki felt an immense gravitational pull. His body was dragged back towards Takuya.

With a low shout from Takuya, the body of Fuguki Suikazan flew towards him involuntarily.

Snap!

In an instant, Fuguki's neck was tightly gripped by Susanoo in front of Takuya.

"...."

Fuguki struggled to spit out a few words from his mouth. The feeling of suffocation was becoming unbearable. Despite being a ninja for so many years, this was the first time he felt death approaching.

"How many more Kirigakure ninja like you are there who want to resist?" Takuya asked calmly, looking at Fuguki.

Kirigakure had been causing problems twice in a row, and Takuya was ready to resolve it once and for all. Even with his power, he could easily resolve these rebellions, but he didn't want to worry about this kind of thing every day. If he had this time, wouldn't it be better spent with his wife and children?

"As long as... you promise to let me go, I will tell you everything you want," Fuguki said, twisting his fat body, desperate to survive.

"In that case, I'll find out myself," Takuya shrugged indifferently.

Then, he raised his head and glanced at Fuguki. In the next second, Fuguki stopped struggling and fell into a state of stasis. After a moment, Takuya controlled Susanoo and applied a bit of force, breaking Fuguki's neck instantly.

 Mei looked at Takuya, wanting to speak but holding back. At not yet twenty years old, she was full of worries in such a situation.

"Never mind. I already know everything," Takuya said with a gentle smile.

He had learned everything by invading Fuguki's brain. In this rebellion, the Seven Ninja Swordsmen acted as the thugs, backed by wealthy ninja families in Kirigakure like the Hozuki clan and the Karatachi clan. They didn't want Kirigakure to be interfered with by Konoha but didn't dare to resist directly, so they hid and kept making small moves.

"You wait for me here. I'll go take care of something," Takuya said, touching Mei's head, then activating Kamui and disappearing.

It had been a week since the Seven Ninja Swordsmen were killed. During this week, Takuya eradicated the Hozuki clan, the Karatachi clan, and all the wealthy ninjas in Kirigakure who resisted him. Although this greatly damaged Kirigakure's vitality, Takuya didn't care. In the future, he wouldn't need these people to resist the Ōtsutsuki clan. If they had to be killed, so be it.

After clearing away the stubborn forces in Kirigakure, Mei, with Takuya's support, officially became the Sixth Mizukage. Since the ninjas of Kirigakure had been killed to the point of fear, Mei firmly grasped control with little effort.

In addition, after Mei took power, she discovered a dungeon while receiving the legacy of the Terumi clan. In the dungeon, a five or six-year-old child was locked up. Upon questioning, the child revealed his name: Kimimaro.

After learning this, Mei brought Kimimaro to him.

"Okay, Kirigakure's issues are mostly settled. It's time for me to return to Konoha. If something happens, inject chakra into this kunai, and I will know," Takuya placed a special kunai in Mei's hand.

"I understand," Mei placed the kunai on the table next to her and looked at Takuya with fiery eyes. "Husband, before you leave, let me give you a child."

After Mei spoke, she took the initiative to sit on Takuya's lap. Looking at her slender waist and white, tender skin, Takuya couldn't help but feel moved. In that case, he would give it his all today!
