The cave on Nameless Mountain was extremely spacious, and the Golden Winged Mantis once again laid on the stone wall.
Its golden triangular head was leisurely opening and closing its sharp mouth, making it appear exceedingly at ease.
Paired with its golden insect wings lazily stacked together, it gave the illusion of dozing off.
The entire cave was very quiet; aside from the breeze that blew through the entrance and rustled the stone wall, there were no other sounds.
Just then, from deeper beneath the ground, a yellow-brown spirit light quietly approached.
The spirit light was very large, yet its movements were extremely careful, and it was evidently very familiar with navigating underground, as it obviously hadn't come here infrequently during this period.
After seeing that the Golden Winged Mantis hadn't made any movement, the yellow-brown spirit light cautiously moved several times beneath the ground, and only after quite some shifting did it slowly climb up.
