106 - From the ashes

Back to the metallic gray SUV, Daemon stopped Evelyn from going inside. He locked back the car after putting what they had in hands inside, before leading the mother and son in another direction.

The family-like trio walked for a while, but Evelyn's assurance and smile turned into surprise, as instead of going to a clothing store, Daemon led them to one of the hotels at the seaside.

Walking through the luxurious lobby, they approached the reception while Jason looked around curiously. Evelyn was forced to hold his hand, as it was his first time in a hotel.

"I want a suite, for one day."

While Daemon spoke before the receptionist could extend the necessary courtesy, she didn't get flustered. With her professional smile unabated, she looked at the trio:

"Welcome, sir. Do you have any requirements for the suite?"
