AN: I should make this clear. Currently Maki is unaware about Roxx's devil fruit and Roxx is also unaware about Maki's devil fruit. They haven't told each other and They haven't gotten a chance to show their powers. Now, let's start the story

I am a monster
"Are you planning to kill the celestial Dragon that is coming to that Island ?" Roxx asked me. "Yes, do you have any problem with that ?" I asked him.
"Personally no. But I just have a very bad feeling about it. It could be a trap. Although possibility is very low, but in case it is a trap for you or for me then it will be very bad if we got caught. Just so you know, that the thing I have is very important for the world government. Especially the five elders. So I will let you decide what to do." Roxx said to me.
"Don't worry old man. I have thought about it. The world government is too pridefull to use one of their celestial pigs to bait me. They now how much of a threat I am. Unless the five elders came themselves, they won't be able to do anything against me. That being said I am not with your plans. Full now stick a long old man. I am not going to kill him publicly. All I want, is to kill that celestial Dragon.
And don't worry I won't compromise your or Kureha's safety.
You are the one who accepted the invitation of a monster. Now you have to stick along." I said to him.
Honestly I have thought about it too. After I killed those piggies I doubted that they will come anywhere near West blue as long as I am here. Although, there is a possibility that the elders are just baiting me into a trap, I have enough confidence in myself.
To keep this duo safe I have to reveal my devil fruit power. But it is not a big deal.
So I have no problem with it.
"....Why do you call yourself a monster ?" Roxx asked me.
"*Sigh* Why are you so curious, old man ?" I asked him.
"Because I have seen many monsters in my career. But I don't think you fit in any of those criteria to call yourself a monster. What I see, is the child who has lost herself in the burning fire of vengeance. Your actions are solely against the world Nobles. You might not be a hero, but you are not a monster either." Roxx told me.
"You don't know anything about me old man. So don't assume anything based on what you just see. I have killed and eaten my fellow slaves just so that, I could recover my strength and get back at those celestial pigs. Tell me do you still think I am not a monster ?" I didn't know why I was engaging in a philosophical conversation with a man decades older than me, a man knows nothing about me. But it felt like I needed to get rid of his misconception. Otherwise it might kill him in the future.
"Believe me kid. I have seen many people in my life, who lost everything due to pirates or Marines or celestial Dragons. Some of them join marines to get revenge on the pirates and discriminantly kill any pirates they meet in the future in the name of justice. Similarly I have seen many people becoming pirates just so that they can get back at us marines. Celestial Dragon are different beings. I too believe that this world will be a better place without them. But a very few have the courage and the power that you have who actually try to go against them.
But even with all of your powers, you have not become a power hungry monster.
You didn't kill me as soon as I revealed that I am a former marine.
Whatever you reason might be, behind that action, prove that you are sentient enough to understand your actions.
So for me, you are not a monster." Roxx went on a large philosophical talk. But I stopped listening to him half way through. I was not interested in those kind of talks.
"Believe whatever you want to believe. No matter what the truth won't change. You might not see me as a monster. But I can't see myself as anything other than a monster. So just don't regret your choice later on." I told him and went inside my cabin. Two more days and we will finally reach the gamblers hut Island.
No matter what that pig is going to meet his end very soon.

"Do you think it is wise ?" Elder Saturn asked the others. They have prepared a good trap for Maki.
"It is a very simple plan. But I believe it will be very effective." Saint Topman Warcury spoke up.
"We have forced Fatpiggy to eat that useless cart cart devil fruit. But our main bet is that whether that monster will eat him alive or not." Saint Ju Peter spoke.
"It has already been a day since that useless bum reached the island. If within 3 days The attack doesn't happen then we have to force him to spend more days there." Saint V Nusjuro spoke.
"Regardless of weather we successfully kill her or not our main focus should be capturing that vice admiral." Saint mass reminded the others.
"For that we have already deployed Kong and Roma, two out of three admirals in the West blue. Except from them there are twenty vice admirals. I don't believe anyone below that rank will be able to handle this mission." Saturn told the others.
"We have done so much preparation. So let's hope that everything goes as planned." Saint Topman Warcury said solemnly.

"The silent is not that big." After seeing the gamblers hut Island at a distance I commented.
"I know that you are going to kill or kidnap that celestial Dragon. So do you have any plan ?" Kureha asked as Roxx listened carefully.
"Yes..." I told them as I started to transform into my hybrid form.
