Readjusting my grip on the daggers so that their tip was facing down at the ground, I stared at Liam, who was simply waiting for me to make the first move.
Taking the opportunity, I rushed forward with my daggers still facing the floor, feeling the cold air brush against my face.
Reaching Liam's body, I swung both my heads straight up to the sky, intending to hit Liam with a dirty uppercut.
As expected, Liam dodged to the right as my left dagger was closer to reaching him.
Readjusting myself mid-swing, I sidestepped to the right so that I was now perpendicular to Liam.
Then, without any hesitation, I surged my hand and dagger forward, forcing Liam to finally raise his sword and parry the attack.
As Liam recovered from his party and got ready to counterattack, I immediately backtracked, retreating a few steps backward.
"Huh...it's not that cold, is it?"
