63- Satisfying

"Looks like someone is in high spirits today!" Delinda teased when saw Marissa humming while checking the files.

Instead of negating her, Marissa pinched her nose, "Because…maybe… I am…" she winked and started humming again.

It was a Monday morning and the first working day never felt so good. She couldn't wait to see Rafael.

Marissa rotated her body towards her laptop and started observing the screen, "Where is Kate? Her file is not here but the rooster here shows that she is present." 

"I saw her going to Mr. Sinclair's office," a worker told Marissa and got back to his job. 

"Mr. Sinclair called her to the office?" Marissa mumbled, "But why?"

"Sir, I assure you. I'm not bullying anyone now. I have stopped passing snide remarks on my colleagues," Poor Kate thought this meeting was called due to some complaints against her.

Rafael hadn't even started speaking yet, but Kate was continuously giving dumb excuses.
