Jigsaw?

I grabbed the pipe, ready for the fight of my life. People, they feel like they can just keep pushing me around. Every damn time but that was coming to an end now.

I had enough, I was going to be the one perpetuating it.

I no longer cared who they were or if they were even sent to take my head, none of that mattered but I knew that they weren't trained fighters.

Just delinquents who depended on overpowering their opponents with numbers.

The man with the bat looked angry but with anger, came a weakness because he charged right at me alone.

The other two were more level-headed and stayed behind, watching the outcome of what would be and I planned on giving them a show.

No gods came to my aid, I was left alone to fight for myself and I wouldn't have had it any other way, the bat came swinging from the left to ram the side of my head.

I knew it had the potential to crack open my head, this person put all of his strength into this swing.

All I needed to do was dodge it as the momentum was against him and that was what I did, I didn't duck but instead leapt backwards to move out of range of this attack.

The man tumbled to the ground the moment he missed and I didn't hesitate to kick him right in the face like his face was a football.

I used all my strength and even though I didn't know the full potential of this body. I knew one thing for sure, I was in peak physical condition.

I shattered his nose in the process and a scream echoed, blood spilling onto my shoe.

"W-Wait!" The man tried to plead but I knew this was all a lame attempt at delaying me.

The other two had made their move, I knew they weren't going to allow me to do their friend in.

"You bastard!" The smaller of the two shouted but I wasn't bothered by name-calling, I took a defensive battle stance.

But before I could respond, the man who had been on the floor moments ago grabbed my feet, making it impossible for me to evade the attack like I did his.

I made a mistake, he wasn't the decoy, they were because the moment I took my eyes off him was the moment I was at a disadvantage.

But then I recalled the memory I had of myself with a big hole in my chest, lying on the ground dead.

Was this it? No, this couldn't be it, this event looked far too insignificant for it to be able to take my life.

I proceeded to throw the pipe like a projectile, aimed at the bigger dagger-wielding assailant but he blocked it however this momentarily stopped him in his tracks.

This gave me a chance to counter the other man who was within proximity, I remembered what I had learned from Vicky.

Boxing was a fighting style that made use of hands and not legs but I wasn't any good with it.

But I had to trust what I had learned from Vicky because this could very well be what saved my life.

The man went for my midsection, just as I suspected due to his size, it would be more ideal to attack my lower section but before he could even complete his swing, I landed an upper cut right into his lower jaw, sending him tumbling to the ground.

"Woah! What was that power!?" I surprised myself, I couldn't believe the power I just displayed.

But the third man that I had delayed froze in fear, I couldn't make out if he was scared of me or something else.

"I gave you the chance to run away," I responded calmly, I understood that they were scared of me but this perception was wrong as I realized he wasn't looking at me.

He was looking past me and before I could tilt my head, I heard a footstep but even without turning, I could tell whoever was behind me was the real deal.

"Minsuk, what are you doing here with these lowlives?" The voice asked and that was when I tilted my head.

I saw a man with a cold expression, his head was red but that wasn't the only thing about him that caught my attention. His eyes were of two different colours, his right being black and the left being red.

It was clear that these people knew him but something told me he wasn't the one that sent them.

"T-That is Jigsaw!" The man on the ground barely said, letting go of my legs and moving back in fear.

"W-We didn't know you knew Jigsaw! P-Please forgive us…" The man pleaded, the remaining two getting on their knees as they all bowed their heads to the ground.

The man walked and stood by my side, he lit a cigarette but his eyes, looked disinterested like this was a regular day for him.

"The rumours were true…" Jigsaw said,

"What rumours?" I managed to speak but even with Minsuk's muscle memory, I felt fear.

"You have gotten careless… You cannot even handle a few nobodies?" Jigsaw said but before I could respond, he pulled out a gun.

"Kill them and be done with it, the boss is waiting," Jigsaw commanded, his voice so cold that it sent chills down my spine.

I knew that this man wasn't in my age bracket, he looked like he was in his mid-twenties.

But this made my task simple, this brought clarity because I knew that once I did this.

There was no going back but I wanted to know who sent them, who was targeting me?

I collected the gun from the man known as Jigsaw and pointed it at the people in front of me.

Three bangs rang out, I didn't bother asking them any questions, it didn't matter but I noticed I had missed two of my shots, it took me an additional four tries to get it right.

It was messy, I wished I had gotten it the first time because now blood was everywhere but Jigsaw was unfazed.

"Who are you?" Jigsaw questioned me as I felt a cold metallic nozzle pressed against the side of my head, ready to blow my brains out if I gave the wrong answer.
