Chapter 48 The question here is

Michael just shook his head at the girl's playfulness before he started loading the dish washer as everyone had now finished eating. 

"So is breakfast the only meal you can cook Mike or is there more?" Gracie asked curiously 

"Cooking is a skill I picked up in the orphanage when I helped the ladies look after the other kids in the past." 

"Then when the police tossed me out on the streets after the fire, I had to fend for myself, so my skill improved." 

"What other skills did you pick up in order to survive?" Jane inquired 

"Many and I won't bore you with them all now, they just range from cooking and knowing piano, to being able to defend myself in a fight." Michael replied casually 

"Oh, you trained in martial arts?" Gracie asked excitedly 

"Trained in is a stretch, I learnt a few moves here and there but what I mean when I say defend myself is I learned how to protect myself from a gangster with a knife in a rough neighborhood where drugs and sex workers were the norm." Michael replied in melancholy as he seemed to be remembering some things. 

The four girls looked at each other with sad looks, they may not have had the best childhoods growing up, but they never lacked money and comfort. 

"So, you were saying something before the Police called?" Michael asked, pulling himself back to the present. 

"Yes, all four of us have something we want to discuss with you so how about we all get a drink and move to the living room where it's more comfortable? Alexia suggested. 

Everyone got a drink from the kitchen and made their way to the living room where they sat down and relaxed before Alexia spoke. 

"So..." Alexia started but then seemed unsure where to begin. 

"You may have noticed after Athena spied on us last night and reported it to you earlier that the four of us have a special relationship." Gracie decided to cut in and speak. 

"If you mean how originally, I thought you and Sarah where an item but then you had sexual intercourse with Jane last night then I must admit I was surprised when Athena informed me earlier." Michael said while nodding. 

"First let's just call it sex and second all four of us have sex with each other when we feel like it and that includes Alexia" Jane said as Alexia blushed slightly. 

"Ok, and you're telling me this why?" Michael asked. 

"There are a few reasons but first let me ask this, have you decided to stay here longer because you indicated you would last night in the limo, but we never got a concrete answer." Sarah asked. 

"I think the question here is do you still wish for me to stay here with you all?" Michael asked instead of answering. 

"As we have already seen my presence here has already brought you trouble with the press and even the police have contacted you." 

"It's not even been 12 hours since it was revealed I am here so how will things progress in the future is anyone's guess." Michael finished. 

"Yes, as I said to you last night, I want you to remain here with me by my side and it's not only me, but the other girls also want you to stay here, this penthouse may be in my name however we share almost everything with each other including our homes." Alexia said while the other three girls all nodded in agreement. 

"Don't worry about the press because they always need something new to report or they would not make money, and we are not bothered because this is giving The Lake Foundation the attention we were hoping for at its launch, so in a way your being here is helping us." Sarah added 

"As for the reports that Alexia's fans are making to the police don't worry because we will release a statement later that should calm things down for the most part, though there will always be crazies we have to watch out for." Jane advised 

"To add onto Sarah's point, you not only helping with the announcement of The Lake Foundation, let's not forget your discovery about Athena, that will help us in many different ways and enterprises." Gracie pointed out. 

"Then if all four and you are sure, I have no reason to refuse your generous offer, I just hope you will let me earn my stay as I don't like the idea of living off all four of you for free." Michael agreed, making all the girls show happy smiles. 

"Don't worry about that, I mean you have already helped us out so much since you arrived less than 48 hours ago, and I get the feeling your presence will help us out even more in the future" Gracie said. 

"Plus let's face it, having you around is so much fun, I can't remember the last time I smiled and laughed so much." Sarah added 

"So going back to your question about why we told you that we all have intimate relations with each other. Are you ready to learn the reason?" Jane asked, turning the discussion back in the right direction.
