Hearing this, Andy was instantly relieved.
Although, during this period of time because of the lack of pocket money he was exploited by Helen for labour.
But as long as Cho Chang brought back magic books from China, Andy felt that it would be worth it.
"Who is Cho?" Isabel asked curiously.
"A classmate of mine."
"Oh!"
"..."
After a forty-odd minute ride, Andy's trio arrived in Surrey, a county located thirty-five kilometres southwest of London.
Thorpe Park, a rather unique theme park, was very popular with young people in Britain. The park had a lot of thrill programs and could be considered a paradise for thrill seekers.
The prices in 1992 were far less exaggerated than in the latter days, but when Andy paid for the car and bought three tickets, a little less than fifty of his hundred pounds had been spent.
This was a bit embarrassing.
You know, it is now 1992; the exchange ratio between British pounds and Chinese money is: one pound is equal to about eight yuan.
That means Andy had eight hundred yuans in his hand, and he originally thought that it was a huge amount of money, but it turned out that it was not enough to spend at all.
This amount of money was simply not enough to play a few programs.
Andy once again realized the reality that 'he was poor'.
It was a good thing that the Gringotts did not open the exchange channel between pounds and gold Galleons, and only the young wizards who came from Muggle families could exchange a fixed amount of money every year.
Otherwise, those dark wizards would use an Imperius Curse, and casually control a rich muggle, then they would be able to exchange hundreds of thousands of gold Galleons at the Gringotts.
-Like Helen and Kyle, and the future Andy.
Even without the use of the Imperius Curse, not to mention those great tycoons, even a family like Hermione's could easily exchange tens of thousands of gold Galleons.
If this really happened, those wizards from muggle families would have already ruled the magic world through economics.
How could they possibly be suppressed by pureblood families everywhere in the magic world?
"Don't worry, I brought enough pounds."
Hermione patted her coat pocket and said generously, "I've saved a lot of pocket money over the years, and in the future, if I live in the magic world, this money won't be of much use."
Andy took a deep breath.
Today, it seemed that he could taste the flavour of soft rice.
If it's delicious ...
Cough!
"I didn't realize that Muggle prices were so high."
Andy spread his hands and made a helpless expression, "If I had known, I would have brought more money."
It was easy for those unscrupulous wizards to get muggle money.
An Imperius Curse plus a Memory Charm would be all it takes to solve all the trouble.
Isabel gave Andy a contemptuous look.
Andy didn't have the heart to glare back, and the little girl pouted, not betraying Andy's true situation in the end.
"Let's go! Isa. Haven't you always wanted to come and play at a muggle amusement park?" Afraid that the little lass would talk too much, Andy took Isabel's hand and walked into the amusement park together.
The amusement park in 1992 was quite a bit worse than those large amusement parks Andy had seen in his previous life, but for people in this era, Thorpe Park was already considered top-notch.
As soon as Isabel entered the amusement park, she played like crazy, all kinds of thrilling programs, playing again and again.
The little girl even took out the camera and let Andy take a lot of pictures of her.
When she passed a publicity poster, Isabel pulled Hermione and asked with a curious face, "Hermione, is that one a picture of a muggle?"
"Yeah! What's wrong?" Hermione looked puzzled.
Isabel stared at the photo for a long time, "I can't believe the muggle photo doesn't move, it's amazing, how did you guys do that?"
Hermione: It's the pictures that move that are weird, right?
Isabel added, "The paintings don't move either, and the characters in them don't talk. It's so nice ... some of the people in the portraits can be noisy."
Hermione: "..."
At noon, Andy's trio casually found a fast food restaurant to fill their stomachs.
Of course, it was Hermione who treated them.
Andy's pounds had long since been spent without a dime left, and the last of his change had been spent on snacks.
Eating soft food, as long as you get past the hurdle in your heart, you will realize that soft food is really delicious.
At least Andy ate it quite deliciously.
In the afternoon, Hermione treated them to a few more programs.
Andy also tried them out.
Even if he was mature for his age in his heart, the rides were still quite fun as long as he let loose.
If Hermione felt that everything in the magic world was magical.
Then, for Isabel, things in the Muggle world were equally magical.
"Andy, muggle things are magical!" It wasn't the first time Isabel had said that.
"Issa, do you like it?" Andy asked with a smile.
"Uh-huh! Andy, will you bring me back to play next year?" Isabel tilted her head and asked with an expectant face.
"Of course." Andy rubbed the little lass's head.
It was already past four o'clock, Hermione looked at Andy and asked, "Are we going back now? Or do you want to go back after dinner?"
Andy said, "I can't go back too late this time, since I brought Isa with me."
"Fine!"
Hermione was a little disappointed, "I was hoping to invite you guys to my home for dinner."
Andy took a nervous deep breath, "Next time! I'll visit Uncle and Auntie when I'm ready."
"Okay!" Hermione obviously hadn't thought about it too much, "There should still be cabs in front of the park."
"Andy, let's take the Knight Bus back!" The little lass said excitedly.
It was obvious that she hadn't had enough fun yet.
"That's good too."
Andy thought about it and said, "Hermione, let's take the Knight Bus. I'll send you back first, and then I'll take Isa home."
"A wizarding world bus? How do we get on that one?" Hermione asked curiously, "Andy, does the Knight Bus have a fixed stop?"
"We have to go out and then find a deserted alley."
Andy explained, "You'll understand if you watch me do it once."
Walking out of the park, the Andy trio walked for a few hundred meters more and then turned into a deserted alley.
Seeing that the road was still spacious, Andy took out his wand and pointed to the road ahead.
After waiting for a bit, Andy withdrew his wand and then said, "Alright, we just need to be patient now."
"Is that all?" Hermione looked around, obviously curious as to how exactly the wizarding world's bus would appear.
With a deafening 'bam', the Knight Bus pulled up in front of the Andy trio.
"Welcome to the Knight Bus, emergency transport for the stranded witch or wizard. Just stick out your wand hand, step on board, and we can take you anywhere you want to go. My name is Stan Shunpike, and I will be your conductor this eve..."
The Andy trio walked up to the bus and Isabel skilfully found a seat. Andy bought the tickets and pulled Hermione to find a seat, "This bus will go fast, so you'll have to be careful."
"How fast can it go?" Hermione asked curiously.
Driving in the city, even if it was fast, it couldn't be too outrageous, could it?
Even if the bus could be incognito, what could be done if they drove too fast and got into an accident?
Hermione didn't quite understand why she should be careful.
