     Rory was a big shot in the country.

He was a rising multi millionaire in the country and is even recognized by Forbes as one of the richest mid twenties celebrities of the year. I was beyond shocked by the amount of things I was witnessing right now.

How did this happen? The Rory I knew had been very thin when we slept together, and it had clearly been from malnutrition and I could remember fighting the urge to feel care for him that night.  

As I kept scrolling, I realized that he had really been under my nose this whole time and I hadn't realized. In the past three years, I hadn't been on social media. Anything I needed was offline, or one of my secretaries took care of it for me. The only thing I used my phone to do was to receive calls. Maybe if I hadn't completely abandoned social media, I'd have been able to realize where he was sooner.
