'I will keep fighting, get stronger, and become known around the world.' It was her personal promise, one she had made the day she was taken to the Hunter Centre.

Memories flooded her mind. She recalled asking the old man Peljidiin at the orphanage in Korea, the same question repeatedly for years. He hadn't answered until one day, when he showed her a small basket in the backyard, next to some wilted flower bouquets. He had said,

"You were placed in this, and it floated ashore on its own. If there had been turbulence in the river, it could have been a different story."

As she closed the distance between herself and the students, Eunji clenched her fist. "That's my promise. I will become so famous that wherever those two are, they'll regret abandoning me. They may not recognize me, but they won't be able to deny knowing who I've become."
